Song River Cafe is a cafe restaurant that serves hawker style food. It is located at Persiaran Gurney, Georgetown.Barbecued chicken wingsThis barbecued chicken wing is one of my favourite hawker stall's food. The chicken wings have been marinated in a special marinade which gives them distinct flavour. the chicken wings are barbecued perfectly and finished with a smear of honey which gives them slight sweetness and extra smokiness from the charcoal.

Although this dish is a little bit unhealthy since they are barbeque food and the chicken wings skin is blackish in color. The chicken wings is really soft and tender. THey are sweetened with a lot of honey too.

我点了这里的单人份炒饭，Rm6 一份。炒饭端上的时候让我有点惊讶，因为饭是放在砂锅煲里炒的，所以味道也特别的香。里面放了很多海鲜和配料，让炒饭特别鲜甜入味。但由于饭会贴锅底，所以虽然锅很大，但是饭的分量却不多，所以大吃的人可能要点多一份。

这里的酸辣米粉鱼汤也是很不错的。尤其是周末，这里的顾客特别多，需要排队等很久才有位子坐。米粉汤可以选择要煎过的鱼片还是清蒸的鱼片，米粉也可以选要粗的还是幼的。至于我比较喜欢没有煎的鱼片，因为鱼很新鲜。汤也很好喝，里面放了酸梅和小辣椒让汤多了一些酸辣味。

这里的炒河粉很不错的。一人份的只是RM6. 虽然人很多，但是服务蛮快的。里面有很多的海鲜，而我点的这个河粉是有炸鱼片的。鱼炸得很香，而且没有腥味，想必一定很新鲜。味道刚刚好。

我父母很喜欢这里的肉骨茶。和其他的槟城肉骨茶相比，这里的肉骨茶汤颜色没这么黑，药材味不会太重，所以味道一点都不苦，反而汤很清甜，小孩子都喜欢喝。肉骨茶可以根据几人份而配搭配料，可以选择瘦肉，排骨还是肥油肉。里面的料还可以添加，比如肉丸，豆腐皮等等。无论配饭还是单单这么吃都很不错。

Song River Cafe is one of the famous places for stir-fried. Location will be located around Persiaran Gurney. The restaurant is an old banglo with many hawker centres. The visit here this time is enjoying the delighting local delightsOne of the famous delights in this shop is the Roast Drumstick. The drumstick is well BBQ till golden brown. The delicious roasted drumstick is well fried with the tenderness of the flashes of the chicken. Aside, the drumstick is also so nice where is BBQ with Honey

Besides dim sum, bak kut teh, you can have some nosh here such as fried rolls.Im having these deep fried prawn rolls and crab rolls which is crispy and was one of my favourite snacks.I can taste rich fresh prawns and crabs inside the 'rolls' togather with some vegetables.The content was juicy and freshly made and covered by crispy dry beancurd. With or without sauce it was delicious. The quality of food was good with reasonable price.

My parents like to come here for breakfast as the they have varieties of food. Although the environment was not that attractive but the important is the quality of food which brings in lots of people. You can bring your own teabags and serve yourself with hot water at the pot. Song River Cafe is a coffee shop nearby to Gurney Plaza in Penang, and it is facing the sea. Getting a parking place there is rather difficult during night time, for most of the parking spaces are fully occupied by tourists or locals who are looking for food or strolling along the beach to get some sea breeze.
