Here we are for DESSERT of the dae! @ Snowflakes, Kuchai Lama. This outlet is always fully occupied at night. This is not a new idea anymore, many outlets use the same concept with this UFO. Everytime you visit this dessert shop, you should try out this Snowflake's bestseller ---
Grass jelly series, with taroballs!

After trying out most of the taiwanese desserts out there, I still come back to Snowflakes because it's really a good one as compared to its competitors.

Well, my personal favor is the combination of red beans, grass jelly and pearl set from the soya ice series. Further more, they had launched an all new series called "Snowflake Japan Combo II" recently.
What so unique about this series are, they mix up the dessert with the baked red bean, signature ocha balls, and also with newly added baby pearls on top of famous soya Ice.

As an encouragement, Snowflake also offers a Dessert Lover Club's card that has slots for 10 empty column for valued customers. Each RM5 purchase entitles to have one stamp.
Once Snowflake card has completed of 10 stamps, customer are eligible to get 1 free item from menu on the next visit. Sound great right~

My first time trying Snowflake, I didn't like it. I had picked the "Best Seller" which I thought tasted plain and boring. My first time trying Snowflake, I didn't like it. I had picked the "Best Seller" which I thought tasted plain and boring. Between the two of us, we couldn't even finish a bowl.

Now, it's one of my favourite dessert places, because they introduced a seasonal item - Sesame Sensation - which has been such a big hit that it became part of the permanent menu.

I only go to Snowflake because of this one dessert and nothing else. The shaved peanut ice tastes just like peanut butter when it melts a little, and doesn't turn watery. The starchy black sesame malls have a silky yet firm texture, and has a mild nutty flavour from the sesame, though I wish it were stronger.

The red beans gives an added dimension of heavy sweet flavour, while the starchy pearls give it the wet, smooth texture that the dessert needs.

Sesame sensation is my favourite! Experience the chewy sesame balls & creamy smooth-textured peanut iced complimented by servings of red bean and baby pearls toppings.
The sesame balls like the taro balls with a hint of sesame, it taste very nice because I'm really a big fan of sesame, hehe...
