Shogun Japanese Buffet Restaurant (Closed)

i can enjoy the food session. eat all you can is the terms here and in shogun i can find the food is delicious, fresh made from the staff and also the environment is very comfortable too. the noodle have many type some have soup noodle and mostly is soba or udon served cold as well depends on you own choices . the ingredients is all fresh made and the soup is tasty enough

the food i like the most is the fried tempura. no need long queue as they prepare very fast and fried on the spot and refill it very quickly too. not too oily just nice to consume. the restaurant is not really crowded during dinner time but during lunch time perhaps you might need to make early booking to book the seats if for larger group of people. the drinks here is just average

i can get so many sushi at the counter without limit and paying for the price of less then RM 80 i can have my delicious buffer here. the fried item like fishball, salmon ball and the fu chok is nice with mayonnaise. also have my favourite of the fresh oyster and also the inari sushi. delicious enough for my dinner. service is good and they refill the item very fast and nice

Shogun Japanese Buffet Restaurant is surely the place to bring family or even for orgnanize friend gathering party here. the food is there and easy self service buffet free flow and the price is not expensive. can spend more time here to enjoy the food. they even have pasta to try on besides the sushi counter and the pasta is well cooked and fresh tomatoes pastes inside.

Shogun Japanese Buffet Restaurant is located at one utama and sometime when i come to one utama i really need to study the floor map to find the restaurant name as i usually got lost as one utama is too big area. shogun is at level 2, at the corner side. well decorated. and the buffet have so many choices. i like this salmon fried roll and also add with chili sauce or mayonnaise. yummy

Shogun Japanese Buffet Restaurant is all about japanese food. here the buffet is free flow and the price start from RM 49 onward and not yet include the tax. here the seafood is fresh with so many sushi to choose from. mostly also are the japanese food but also added with the western style food and also i try the mushroom soup added with the bread. not bad and creamy too

the fried item here is all prepared fresh. i can see in shogun the staff is there to deep fried the tempura putting in the flour and the recipe there and fried using the fresh oil . and not that oily and i taste the tempura with the mayonnaise. good and delicious. together with the prawn roll as well. i can dip into the mayonnaise. taste better and added with the sushi as well

Shogun Japanese Buffet Restaurant is located at one utama. here i can find really big space to dine in with wide selection of the delicious sushi food . here the price is not that expensive and even for lunch time not exceed RM60 not bad the sushi taste is good. the maki is well wrapped with the seaweed and fresh crab roe, with also the salmon sushi is nice to try it out

shogun is a nice place to have the japanese buffet they have so many promotion from time to time and one can enjoy their lunch and dinner buffet and very satisfying dining experience here. the steamed egg is very smooth and served hot in a small bowl. tasty and the sushi is all fresh and the egg also. the fried tempura is good and not to forget the wonderful desserts

shogun have hey have another outlet in UOA buidling and here usually also very crowded. places in mont kiara is comfortable and nice dining experience. here in one utama is far mo re comfortable with great service. here the sushi all looks so tempting and i try this maki. many more choices available at the counter and most attractive is the sushi types there lot to choose

Like their two other counterparts at Mont Kiara Solaris and Sunway Pyramid; I do feel Shogun 1Utama is also pretty over-rated. Not worth the price paid. Although, I must say they do have lunch promotions which is almost 30% cheaper than dinner. And on your birthday you get to eat for free if you bring along one or two (can't remember) paying guests. So value-for-money I guess. But food nothing to shout about. Japanese cuisine OK, Asia cuisinie and Desserts rather a let-down :-(

The tapioca caught my attention. It was presented in a small dish and the yellow yet transparent dessert was quite attractive. The tapioca was cooked in a starchy sweet sauce. Therefore, it was a bit sticky. The tapioca tasted not bad. It actually tasted very much like eating potato. One or two bites of the tapioca will be sufficient, i think if i eat more than that, i will feel like i'm eating a lot of carbohydrates.

A variety of fruits were offered in the buffet. I love the local fruits, they were very fresh. The fruits were papaya, melon, pineapple, watermelon, orange, etc. I didn't eat the orange because i'm afraid it is sourish. All the above fruits were very sweet and juicy. I like the watermelon the most. It was the sweetest. I like the way they cut the fruits, very neat and tidy and not too small pieces.

The chocolate fondue was a big hit. Not only were there children lining up, there were adults keen to dip the ingredients into the chocolate fountain. The non stop flowing chocolate sauce was really eye catching. The silky smooth chocolate sauce was very tempting. There were fruits, bread sticks and marshmallow provided for dipping the chocolate sauce. The chocolate sauce harden very quickly.

The cordial drinks such as the blackcurrant, mango and orange are more popular among the kids. I find that the cordial drinks were too sweet for me. Perhaps kids don't really care too much about sweetness. For non sweet drinks, there are also hot green tea and ginseng tea. The ginseng tea was mildly sweetened and was popular among the adults. The hot green tea will be served to everyone when seated.
