This restaurant is always caught my attention when passing by, reason being this restaurant is very “Red”. I do not want to eat steamboat today because I want to get some snack from Night Market along Jalan Manis which right front of the restaurant. It could be this reason, the restaurant seems quite around this dinner time. Sometime customer is spoilt for choices.

In order to have something light, I opt for Dry version of Wanton Mee (RM7.00) with Char Siew topping. Without needed to wait much longer, my food was served. The Wanton mee is springy, sauce is rich and sweet. Char Siew was using lean meat which I prefer to have fat in between.

As usual, wanton was served in separate bowl. Soup was clear and the Wantons were tasty yet generous amount of filling. This is good!

Curry Mee 金牌咖喱面 (RM9.50), was remarked as signature noodles. I have tried the curry soup was just a bit too normal for me. Perhaps I have high expectation on it. But overall is still acceptable.

dry wantan mee is real dry until the mee needed to add soup to make it into your throat. sucks. tasteless until needed to add lots of samble to enable me to eat the whole plate of wantan mee. Saw the opposite table with 4 paxs left with almost all 4 plates of wantan mee with at least half wantan mee left on their plates.

I have been to Shi Fu Wan Tan few times and I have tried most of their noodles from their Original Pan Mee to World's No 1 spiciest Pan Mee to their fine Wan Tan Mee and their Curry Mee. A note of advice, for those who can't take spicy food, please don't be a hero and order their World's No 1 spiciest pan mee. According to the owner, it consists of 3 spiciest chilli around the world and even he himself dare not take it. I suffered when I took a big bite of the noodle. My mouth starts to burn and I was sweating profusely but the spiciness aside, it is quite tasty.

Shi Fu Wantan Mee restaurant (师傅云吞面) was recommended by a friend of mine. We went in a group after our usual exercise routine. Our first time we had this red bean with condensed milk iced and made us fallen in love with it immediately. Each visit, we will not missed this item after meal. The taste is totally different with the typical red bean iced. When the ice gets melted with the condensed milk, slowly, it will blend in with the red bean, that is the way to eat it. Taste is like the original homemade recipe of red bean iced Yummy!

When you are at this Shi Fu Wantan Mee Restaurant (师傅云吞面), one of the items in the menu you must not ignore, that is The World Spiciest Pan Mee (天下第一辣). The appearance of this wonderful meal does not look red in colour but in darker brown instead. It served with minced pork, fried anchovies and egg. I would not dare to risk my life to try a bowl. Just had one strand of the pan mee that was really made by day. I have 2 friends took up the challenge, one that showed motionless while the other

But both shared a common appearance that was both face turned red. Must be from the super hot and spicy effect.....

I played safe, I had my Dried Special Char Siew Shrimp Wantan Thin Mee. The portion was just good for one. Taste a bit plain, I put soya sauce to go with it. In terms of the mee and Char Siew, the taste were pretty normal to me. I like the most was the wantan dumplings. The size is certainly bigger than other wantan stalls outside as the shrimp size is big and gave the whole shrimp.

Within 2 months, we have been to Shi Fu Wantan Mee restaurant (师傅云吞面) couple of times. Had different meal on each visit. Like the taukeh (shopowner) who is probably around in his age of late 70s. We had ordered a curry mee whereby the mee is of the wantan mee. The curry mee looks so tempting when served to us. Thick curry, good curry aroma coming out and served with chicken, wantan dumplings, 'tau fu pok' and beans sprout. The curry meal really passed everyone's expectation. Not super hot and spicy, moderately spicy only. But for me, it is certainly spicy as I seldom take spicy food.

This place is well known for serving one of the spiciest pan mee one can find. On the menu, you can find a dish boasting as being the worlds most spicy pan mee and there is also a dish called second most spicy pan mee. Spicy pan mee, hate it or like it, it will still be here to stay and more of them are popping up like mushrooms after a rain. Over the weekend, I had the chance to try; I would say so myself, the spiciest pan mee I had ever taken in my life. (Its rated only the second spiciest pan mee in the world by the shop)

The pan mee is mixed with chili oil which makes it flaming hot. From the very first bite till the moment you expel it from your body you can feel the burning effects of the chili oil. My mouth went numb the moment the mouthful of pan mee entered
and I could literally feel it burning my lungs and stomach. I gave up after the second bite and my face had turned obviously pink from the effects of the chili oil.

Fret not though; the shop also sells one of the best wantan mee i ever tasted.
The best part of the dish is the char siew which is has the right amount of fats which melts in your mouth. The meat was tender as well and not too dry. The only downside was the dumplings has more skin than actual fillings.
