Serai (Closed)

Pavlova – It was recommended everywhere that Pavolova is a must-order in Serai. I could not agree more! We ordered one slice for sharing and it was indeed a big piece. The meringue (whipped egg white and sugar) was not overly sweet. The cake was soft and fluffy. The crust was crispy on the outside and slightly sticky. It was topped with strawberry and raspberry that give a little bit sour flavor.

Beef Burger – The burger consisted of lean meat, caramelized onions, mushroom, lettuce, tomato and came along with fries, chilli sauce and mayo. The portion was not too huge, just enough for my appetite. The lean meat burger was so soft and slight salty. The patty was slightly burnt at the edge too. The caramelized onions were the star of this burger, they were sweet, soft and fragrant and the same time, and I wish they could give more! The mushroom with cheese added some saltiness to this dish.
