I had to restock my kitchen with food again and the only place I can get most of the Japanese ingredients I need is found at Isetan, KLCC. There you can find your usual Japanese food fix and are quite famous for their bowls of udons & ramen. However I am always there for their rice bowls which are often times already prepared and laid out at the front for people to buy as takeaway meals. If you do choose to dine there the staff would reheat it for you if that's what you like.

MY FAVOURITE! The Beef Don set which comes with a side salad, agedashi tofu and miso soup. It also comes with green tea, can't remember if this is refillable or not. All of this only costs me Rm25 and the portion is actually bigger than I had initially expected.

The beef don is supr good as each meat is succulently juicy plus the sweet sauce that is poured over it coats the rice nicely. I usually only am able to finish half of this and takeaway the other for my breakfast or something. See, two meal with one purchase haha. 
The sides are also pretty good, especially the miso soup. I can just slurp up the whole bowl easily as it is so full flavoured from i dont know what + miso. Heavenly.

Really enjoy it whenever I dine at Senya and would happily be back for more.

Laid out at the counter are already boxed bento-like meal. You can either purchase those to be taken away or eat at their restaurant. They also have a menu which you can order off of with items such as teriyaki chicken, assorted types of ramen and different types of rice bowls.

A friend had told me how good their Chicken Kaarage rice bowl was and spotting it already prepared, I took that. Although I'd usually like my meal to be steaming hot, I opted to just eat my rice bowl without being re-heated with a nice glass of hot green tea to enjoy.

The first thing that struck me was the aroma of the chicken and the sauce that it was doused in. Until today I am still unsure what kind of sauce it was but there's a hint of ginger, garlic and maybe some soy sauce. It was so good as it gave the meat extra flavourings.

I enjoyed my rice bowl a lot and ate everything down to the very last grain of rice. Although I can say that it took me quite a while because for Rm17, if I remember correctly, the portion was quite huge with a lot of adequately sized chicken pieces.

Now I can't wait to go back and try other things from their menu.

Senya restaurant is famous for their in house noodles soup, regardless of ramen or udon, all soupy dish are famous. The reason why they are famous is because they do out some efforts in boiling the soup. The broth will be thicker than the one you find in other Japanese restaurant and really nice. The normal ingredients of the soup is always the seaweed, spring onions, some meat and the handmade ramen. Very nice.

Ordered udon soup that came in big bowl and portion is average. Broth of the udon soup is thick and cloudy. It tasted sweet. It came with japanese fish cake, seaweed, sprinkled with spring onions. Udon has a chewy texture. Nice to eat.

Inari sushi can be an ala carte or come with the lunch set. Inari sushi here comes in two slices for the combo set. It was made by wrapping some sushi rice into the bean curd skin, the skin is really sweet, I have no idea how they do it but Inari is my favour among all the sushi! In addition, the bean curd skin is not too dry, it is moist and sweet. Good to eat alone or with some wasabi.

Salmon don is my new favor in Japanese restaurant now. Ordered this in Senya, inside Isetan, Suria KLCC. Salmon don here came in about three to four slices of salmon wrapped on the rice. Topped with big mentaiko (egg) and some lemon, pickled gingers, wasabi and a piece of leave for decoration. Salmon slice is fresh but quite thin in slice. Since it is fresh, it tasted sweet. Rice is intact but abit sticky and moist.

Senya express restaurant in KLCC Isetan is another place that I love to visit. Food serves fast and yet, quality. Service there is really nice and fast but you are not allowed to bring outside food or food from other stalls. If you order the combo set, it will comes with the salad as appetizer, a slice of tofu and a bowl of miso soup. All in reasonable price. This salad topped with sesame sauce. Whole combination is nice.

Senyu Dining offers a lot of pre packed food that draws in the busy workforce during lunch time.simply pick a bento or a sushi plate of your choice and they will heat up for you and you're ready to eatthey have places to eat there or you can take away and eat at your cubiclebesides the pre packed food they also have noodles soup such as udon and ramenit can get a little noisy because it is within the food market but their food is certainly high quality
