After nearly a year away, finally am back for some reminiscence so called Came back to this nostalgic restaurant for a half day townhall, which ensued by some yummy afterwards.The environment here is always that laid-back and casual, spacious with aesthetic portraits of the late famous artist.As for the food, this time they have slightly improved in varieties, such as the Fried Chicken Wing, which is very well marinated. Popiah is crispy but the skin is bit thick. Koey Teow is decently fried. I

Vanilla LoafWhen the attention slowly shift to the newly-laid plate, a nicely sliced vanilla loaf has just greeted us. Not only it is quite appealing presentation wise with some berries as companion, the cake in fact tastes pretty good too. This pound cake-lookalike is actually quite spongy with some fragrance from vanilla essence as well. Since it is not exactly vanilla pound cake, mild dryness is still acceptable after some time savoring it.

Strawberry Cakes Another snack plate that is pretty common to many of us is the Strawberry Cakes that have been cut into a handy and convenient to eat size. These cakes are garnished with some chocolate and white cream alternately, with the strawberry sponge cake at the bottom remain decently soft. The top layer is not too creamy either. In a nut shell, it tastes pretty normal and nothing to boast about.

Chocolate Ganache cookiesAs for this velvety-drenched chocolate ganarche cookies, they actually fares quite mediocre. Undeniably, it has got the buttery fragrance with some flaky texture as you bite onto it. Light hint of vanilla essence to spice it up a little. But it can get too dried is eaten too much at one go. So best paired with some tea to clear up the throat a bit

Chocolate CupcakesComes to the part where sweet tooth fan enjoy the most. Here we have the mini chocolate cupcakes that are very I rich and dense with chocolatey cream. It is served in a bite-sized portion and they are gone within few minutes. Seems like the guests really enjoy it very much. As for me, am suffice to have one just to taste it, for if taken more, it will be tad sweet for me then. So good stuff is better appreciated in smaller portion

And you would never go wrong with any sandwich dish. Their sandwich comes in a mixture of fillings that includes cheese, ham, egg, lettuce and som
