So one day we headed to BIG: Ben Independent Grocer at Publika. I'll write another post about my wonderful grocery shopping experience in BIG=) So, let us come back and talk about the main point. So, halfway while we were shopping, we realize there is a few restaurants in BIG itself, and we were seriously feeling hungry. Then i saw this poster below.

So this is the entrance of the restaurant. I still do think this is the main one.=) Since the name is S.Wine, of course it only sells Pork. Seems like lately I've been eating a lot of pork.

The SWINE word with the light bulbs is so vintage, reminds is of the old school Broadway shows=) There is also a very large photo showing the parts of a pig. educational huh?

At 1st we wanted to order Sloppy Pig Burger with Mexicana Pulled Pork, too bad it's sold out, so we ordered BBQ Chorizo Cheeseburger with Bacon. I quite like this one, but i feel the portion of the burger it's a bit small compared to TGIF or Chillies, but for money wise, it's still worth the price. It has 2 strips of bacon, cheese and the juicy burger patty. It has a sweet taste, actually taste a bit like char siew(Chinese barbecued pork)

I ordered this, forgot what's the name, its creamy sauce pork chops, all i can describe it. I feel one of the pork its a bit too well done, but the other 2 pieces is just right. combines together with the mash potato with some kind of grated vege, the sause is creamy yet has a bit sourish taste. This meal is just so yummy. Just it lack a bit of colors as it looks a bit pale.

I have always wanted to try out pork sausages, i ordered the garlic sausages. For me this is way too porky. Not really my type of sausage. Both of us cant even finish this one.

Other than the sausage, i enjoy the other food that i ordered! would come again!

S.wine cafe they are so 'creative' if you remove the "." it will be SWINE which is "pig". I think their concept is wine & swine cafe. BBQ Chorizo cheeseburger they serve like Ben's "Pork & chorizo burger topped with melting cheese @ applewood smoked bacon, sandwiched in a brioche burger bun spread with BBQ sauce" -Get the description from the menu. For me it is salty mainly because most of the western pork taste super salty and the bacon hard to bite plus i can't feel any taste of applewood. I do

Sausage & Bacon Chunks

"Spaghetti tossed with garlic sausages & bacon chunks in tomato-capsicum concasse with cream" - Get the description from the menu. Well from the description can already imagine how porky will the spaghetti taste

I like this!! taste not so creamy sumore is pork spaghetti it is my first time having a pork spaghetti. The cream does not taste so milk & cheese. It brings us more appetite compare to the BBQ Chorizo cheeseburger and the saltiness is cover up by the cream sauce so is not a big deal. This cost RM 26 too so compare with the burger I think this spaghetti quite worth it since we cant really find any pork spaghetti selling in town at the moment.

Will definitely going back and try out more on their dishes.

Pan-roasted Pork ChopThis found in S Wine at Publika. Here is a concept restaurant, decoration with a theme. This pan-roasted pork chop is served with cream sauce. The cream is think and i think is 'too creamy' for me. For the pork chop, it is well flavoured and delicious, is quite soft to bite. The portion is just ok but i think you can't finish a big portion with the rich cream. Overall, the food is taste and i feel this is quite special dish that hard to find similar dish at other places.

This was the fresh arugula salad with peach wedges and roma tomatoes tossed with Parma ham in white balsamic vinegar and extra virgin olive oil. The reason why we ordered this was the parma ham. At first I was suspicious that it might be too bitter due to the amount of arugula but it wasn't. The other ingredients balanced the bitterness out well, and actually added different dimension to the dish. It was a delight to have this salad instead of the normal one. The parma ham was slightly too single dimension, a little harsh in terms of flavor. The amount of parma ham was pitiful that we had to ration it before we ran out of parma ham, leaving only the arugula.

This is perhaps the most appropriate name for a restaurant that serves pork and wine. One section of the interior is glamorous with the light bulbs, while others being cosy in black and light bulb lighting up the table only. I think it is quite romantic that way The spaghetti was quite smooth. However the chorizo was quite tough and came in very pitiful amount. You really have to ration your chorizo so you have enough to go with the big pile of spaghetti. Pine nuts contributed to the overall nut

The spaghetti was quite smooth. However the chorizo was quite tough and came in very pitiful amount. You really have to ration your chorizo so you have enough to go with the big pile of spaghetti. Pine nuts contributed to the overall nutty flavour and crunchiness. Flavour wise, the extreme was counter balanced well. Not to mention, some random "surprises" you might get
