I went dinner with my boyfriendto SS2 and we saw this restaurant is crowded with People when we are lookingfor car parking. Therefore, we went there for dinner. The restaurant is locatedopposite KFC, SS2. The restaurant serves varieties of Hawker Foods like ChickenRice, Curry Mee, Laksa, Kuay Teow Soup, Fried Hokkien Mee, Yang Tau Foo,Porridge and Char Kuay Teow. The restaurant has 2 types of seating, indoor andoutdoor (Tables and Chair are placed on the road to accommodate the crowds). Weordere

Another one of my late night options. They serve a good varierty of dishes. Cleanliness is average however I prefer to sit outside where its open & airy. Service is pretty decent.Good choices would be the curry mee, wantan mee, char kway teow, chee cheong fun, grill fish, nasi lemak & hokkien mee. Drinks are the usual however priced slightly more than most places.

想吃鸡蛋想吃面包，想念以前小时后爸爸带我去吃早餐的感觉。今天给自己点了这个。鸡蛋还可以，放了一些酱油胡椒粉的，好喝。不过那个面包可就让我有一点点的失望。面包里只是涂了些planta和kaya，我还再三的问了那服务生里面又没有butter那种，服务生误会了我的意思。面包也烤得干干的！

Beef Kuey Teow Cantonese Fry ("ngao yuk hor"). My mother was addicted to Beef Kuey Teow Cantonese Fry nowadays, so it was not a surprise that she order it in this Weng Kee at Sun Hin Loong restaurant. The Beef Kuey Teow Cantonese Fry came with beef slices, spring onions and ginger. The gravy was was much and slightly diluted. The beef slices were over cooked till it was slightly tough.

Black Pepper Udon. Sun Hin Loong hawker stalls open from morning till night. This time we tried the Weng Kee "siu chao" stall. The black pepper udon was cooked with green bell peppers, pork slices and we were given a small plate of sambal. The udon was thick and smooth. It was the right amount of pepper taste. The green bell peppers gave the noodle an extra crunchy texture.

When i am in SS2, i can't resist myself coming to this stall for mixed rice. But be warned, this stall charged quite expensive even though you think that your dishes doesn't need to pay that much. Therefore, i am always in a tussle whether i should eat here. I really like the dishes here. The food is well presented, they always maintain the food looking good. The taste is delicious. Most of the time i ended up paying around RM8.00 for the mixed rice, quite expensive indeed.

Lam Mee is very much similar to Lor Mee, due to its dark egg gravy. But this is eaten without the addition of vinegar. Here at Sun Hin Loong, the gravy came with the right consistency, but appears to be watery (shang shui) towards the end due to the corn starch used. The noodles were borderline soggy and soft, which is a little dissapointment. Condiments such as sliced fish cake, shredded chicken, egg, prawn, fried shallots and spring onions are included.

I always appreciate a good bowl of noodle soup, as the tummy warming effect is needed almost anytime. I personally fancy a good bowl of Ipoh hor fun, provided it meets few certain criterias.The broth must achieve good taste from bones and other secret ingredients. Hor Fun must be smooth and QQ. A layer of prawn oil must be present to give a richer flavour. I am glad that the criterias have been achieved, but could be better because the noodles were bordeline soggy.

A plate of Char Kway Teow at Sun Hin Loong Restaurant here is only RM4.50. For those seafood lovers out there that want to add additional prawns, you may do so with an extra charge of only RM 2.00! Kindly take note that a large plate of char kway teow comes with 5 large prawns. The price here in Sun Hin Loong is very reasonable considering the price of a plate in “some” places in Penang Island is almost double of this.

A popular kopitiam in this neighbourhood, I occasionally drop by for late supper (they're open til really late!). There is a stall at the front (towards Watson's) that sells several types of tong sui (dessert) but most of the time choices are limited. My fav here is their bubur chacha at RM 3.50. The amount of stuff inside depends purely on the guy scooping it so sometimes you get more or less. It is slightly too sweet but still okay. When having dinners at coffeeshops, the usual drink that I would order is the herbal iced tea. This time at Sun Hin Loong it is not an exception too.The herbal iced tea is surprisingly quite nice. Usually, most herbal iced tea in coffeeshops are bland, bordering tasteless and only has a feint herbal aroma.This one has a strong taste of herbal taste and aroma, and coupled with sufficient ice, it is quite refreshing.In addition to that, it also has some longan to go with the herbal tea. Restoran Sun Hin Loong situated around SS2 where many good food located, this time i went to Restaurant Sun Hin Loong just to buy this Big Curry Puff as my snack of the dayBig Curry PuffIt may be not that special because this curry puff has spread to most of the places where you can get it easily in any chinese stall restaurant. This big curry puff to me is special because of the taste is not like others. The Potato inside is well cooked and immersed into the curry where the curry is very fragra

This is another time I went to SS2 for food .. and the coffeeshop we went this time is Sun Hin Loong with is located the same row as Watson.I ordered the herbal chicken bihun soup. This is nice. the taste is not bad.. Futher more the smell of the herbal soup is there that make it taste very nice..and temptating.. and I can say I love is so much.The soup taste herbal taste is quite strong and the chicken is being cooked till the meat is brittle and soft which is simply good
