Had the opportunity to try out this humble Chinese restaurant and tried the other side dishes available to go with the plain porridge. Had the potatoes, salted vegetable and the Barley Beancurd dessert.Really love the potato as it made the porridge more flavourful. The cabbages were better than the salted vegetable. Apparently they’re also famous for the Barley Beancurd dessert but somehow preferred the Red Bean dessert.

had one of the wholesome Teow chew food in Taman Segar Cheras.We had the plain porridge to go with the stewed chicken and duck, braised pig intestines,preserved vegetables which was spicy! Claypot chicken rice took awhile to come but worth it! the bottom is the best part to eat!
