平时的我很少会想要吃印度饭，一来不太爱吃辣的食物，二来我住那一区除了嬷嬷档以外也没什么印度餐厅，今天是因为朋友想吃所以就来到这里，他们的banana leaf rice不会很贵，因为印象中是较贵的，我只是放少许咖喱汁，味道还不错的，只是店里有点热，可能是吃辣的关系吧。

I heard my friend recommend the banana leaf rice is very nice, so giving them a try is not something that i need to consider for long. The banana leaf rice comes together with 3 different type of vegetables, and rice can be refill. They also serve some side dish, like papadam The curry and bean paste is pour on top then, with its strong flavour I can really enjoy those vegetable and rich very much. Services is good too, but when I ask for refill for papadam they are not willing to give.

One of my favourite places to get banana leaf rice whenever I go shopping at downtown. The price here is quite reasonable around RM8 for a vegetarian banana leaf rice and add on RM1 for selected meat dishes to go with your banana leaf rice. I like the fact that you can ask for add ons for free and this would usually be my brunch for the day. Service here differs from time to time as sometimes I get exceptionally good service and other times the waiters tend to ignore the customers

Came here with a bunch of colleagues for lunch as we were told this is one of the affordable places for banana leaf rice. As usual, everything was served on a piece of fresh banana leaf and you can opt to eat your meal with your bare hands or use the cutlery provided. 在一个星期五的上午，突然间同事们心血来潮说要一起去吃很“大份”的香蕉叶饭。当时我就在想，能有多“大份”呢？在知道了路途不是很远再加上好奇心的推送下我就和我这班可爱的同事去见识见识一下这件来头“不小”的名店。这家店不会太远，只是在MENARA STANDARD CHARTERED 再向 LIM KOK WING UNIVERSITY 沿着行人道走过去就可以到了。店门口摆放着一个铁碟里面放着香蕉叶饭应有的饭，菜和浆料让顾客们尤其是游客可以了解到底香蕉叶饭是什么东东来的。 服务生的服务算不错，很快的就问我们要吃些什么。。（说真的，大部分人都在吃香蕉叶饭）我和同事们也不例外，全部都叫了香蕉叶饭来吃。说起香蕉叶饭，根据历史是南印度的风俗习惯。在南印度他们是用香蕉叶来当碗据说香蕉叶会释放香蕉叶的表皮而这些表皮可以帮助消化，把饭放在上面吃的而且传统来说是吃素而已没有肉的。只不过现在的香蕉叶饭被现代化了所以才有把肉类如鸡，羊或海鲜来送饭吃的。很快的，服务生就把一片片的香蕉叶放到我们每个人的位置前然后就会把三道菜或豆类端到香蕉叶的前再把饭和其他的小配料加给你的。如果觉得分量不够多，还可以再要求加份量的而

This is my new official favourite place for banana leaf rice. Lots of vegetable types, and I like them all. I like the green veges with dhal because it's love the grain textures and the overall buttery flavoursAlso they have fried banana chips.The tandoori chicken is a little tough, but that's excusable for the price.Most importantly, their onion curry is super rich and full spice. So much onion in the thick curry, and the onions are soft and sweet!Total damage? RM8 + 80 sen tax.

Masala Chicken here is one of my favourite side dish for the banana leaf rice. The masala chicken curry is very thick and has a strong fragrance. The serving is quite small compare to outside but again the price is real cheap here. It is only RM1 for this side dish. Person like me who love rice a lot, this is one of the best deal I can get.

When comes to banana leaf rice, as long as you order side dish, normally it will cost you a bomb. The side dish at here, however is cheaper. The side dish is dirt cheap. Except for their egg here. This egg is soft boiled then deep fried. So it has two layer. Outside hard skin and inside soft. The curry of this egg also nice. But then this egg is twice the price of the chicken.

Sometimes just have the urge want to use hand to eat, and something which is cheap and very filling. This place is not far from my company has a very good crowd every lunch hour.
