Went to Rakuzen on my first day at KL. I was there for lunch and the place is extremely busy, catering mostly to the office crowds. I ordered the salmon sashimi and was very impressed by he serving portion. ..which was quite large. Sashimi was accompanied by miso soup and a tofu pudding of sorts. The fish was quite fresh and at the right temperature. thoroughly enjoyed my meal....great value for money! continue reading

Stirred fried beef with teriyakki sauce sprinked with sesame. It was yummy.The meat was tender and succulent. Portion was really big. I always love how japanese restaurant can spent efforts in marinating the meat and prepared nice meat to be served to the customer. The stirred fried beef was eaten with a bowl of rice. Too much satisfaction in a bowl of rice with meat. Overall this is good restaurant to go for a meal. continue reading

Chicken katsu curry zen. The chicken katsu curry zen came in a big plate, which means big portion. The curry was a lot and the chicken katsu was big too. The chicken katsu was slightly soggy being overflowed by the curry gravy. There were carrots, potato and onions cooked together with the gravy. The curry has the right saltiness with some sweetness in it. The chicken was a big piece. continue reading

炸软壳蟹一直给我的感觉就是干干的没什么好吃,但是樂膳的软壳蟹炸的非常香脆,而且保留了螃蟹的肉质和香味,咬下去的口感非常好外酥内软,也不会油腻。挤上一点柠檬汁更是另有一方的风味 continue reading
