Mendengar namanya saja pasti sudah dapat diagak jenis menu yang ditawarkan disini. Masakan asli Indonesia kian menjadi kegemaran warga Malaysia terutamanya nasi ayam penyet dan mi soto. Maka tidak hairanlah banyak restoran masakan Indonesia yang dibuka kebelakangan ini. Di Pondok Indonesia, apa yang menarik untuk dicuba ialah nasi ayam penyet. Walaupun rasanya sama saja seperti nasi ayam penyet di tempat lain, namun Pondok Indonesia masih menawarkan sedikit kelainan dengan menghidangkan kreme sebagai hidangan sampingan. Suasana restorannya agak sibuk kerana terletak di tepi jalan namum masih selesa. Harga tidak mahal dan amat berpatutan. continue reading

Looking for a quick dinner and something new to try, I decided to order mi bakso (Indonesian beef ball noodles) at this Indonesian place near my home.Quite unexciting. The broth was nice and lightly beefy, but the beef balls were quite weak. Smooth, tender, and chewy, but lacking much beef taste. The noodles were very fine and not a lot, but that wasn't really a concern.Quite boring tasting overall, even after I added in some sweet dark sauce. Not even filling.
