 It was a weekday so we chose the set lunch available.Had the Pan fried Seabass with basil pesto & avocado salad. . Appetizer was the salad. Was slightly abit sour at the bottom due to the ginger salad dressing. But it was all good overall.The Seabass was perfectly fried and not too crusty nor hard. You get perfectly fried slices of fish.avocado salad. 

The Grilled Lemon Grass Chicken is under the MAIN EVENT of the menu..It is served with the Onigiri Omelette Rice with some soy sauce on it..The chicken is well seasoned, crispy skin yet the meat is still soft and juicy.The lemongrass aroma is quite heavy, but I do like it.By the way, I think they grill the onigiri as well because it's outer layer is a bit crispy.Portion is enough for lady but not big enough for guys.

I'm forever the soft shell crab lover!Decided to order the soft shell crab pizza for my lunch in Ploy.It's my first time having Ploy's pizza and I love their thin crust topped with fried soft shell crab & crunchy tobiko!I love how the thin crust goes with the crispy yet soft & tendered inside soft shell crab, very Japanese style.The portion is good as snack yet if you're having it all, well it makes you full!

Aptly named PLOY which literally means "gem" in Thai, this gem of a restaurant located in Damansara Heights at the modern and sleek office building Clearwater. Ploy @ Clearwater serves cuisine inspired by the Japanese and Chinese culture. I was invited to try out some of their mouthwatering dishes a couple of months back, so here's my take on the place.We kicked off the evening with some rather exotic tasting Truffled Hamachi. Sashimi doused in yuzu truffle sauce, this was indeed a fresh dish. T

Crab in Wrap is a special sushi so called where the Chef made a blend of the Thai and Japanese influences in it. The Crab in wrap is where the sushi is being wrapped with soft shell crab, Avocado, mango, sushi rice. It is then topped with the spicy maki on top. Every mouthful is simply delicious and addictive where the spicy maki sauce is well blend together with sushi itself.Price: RM 28.00

I must say I love this durian pannacotta very very very much..This is forever the reason why I'll revisit The Ploy..Of course one must be durian lover to love this dessert..This durian pannacotta is made of Kunyit and there's durian meat in it..The texture is very smooth and creamy..It taste exactly like as if you're eating the durian but it's much more creamy..It melts in your mouth and all you can taste is just "DURIAN"

Next in line will be the Emperor Burger where the Australian Minced Sirloin Patty is being sandwiched in between the Chinese Style Man Tau Buns with the shiso leaves and the Japanese tiugan sauce. The burger is simply special and it is well combined with the Chinese mantou and it creates a juicy and tender texture of the sirloin patty.Price: RM 25.00

One of the highlights in PLOY @ Clearwater will be the Abalone Somen. Abalone Somen is deliciously made where the somen is well served and it is topped with abalone and truffle sauce. The dish is simply nice and cold. It is simply savory and it is sinfully delicious. The taste brings a refreshing and savory taste of it. Each bites is just slurpy and deliciousPrice: RM 55.00

Another specialty is theis the ploy style poh-piah which is being served with the akami tuna, sushi rice, flying fish roe and their signature sauces. It is then being seared. The torched sunrise tuna are being prepared and it is full of fragrance which comes from the seaweed taste. The dish is simply good and delicious with the fragrant seaweed and the dish is full of fragrance with the great taste.Price: RM 35.00

The Mussel Mania is also a very great combination which is being served in Ploy where the fresh Australian mussels are being infused with Thai herbs, basil as well as mint leaf and it is then being cooked in coconut juice. The mussel is very fresh and the coconut water which is cooked together with the basil leaf and the thai herbs are thick and well flavored.Price: RM 35.00

Crispy Fish Basket is our favorites of all. The fillets of deep fried crispy sole are being served in an equally crispy fish basket which is seasoned in Thai Spices. The fresh fish is being deep fried till crispiness and the taste is sinfully delicious. The fish meat has the light spiciness and the fish bones and everything can be eaten as well. We just could not believe we had completed the whole plate of the fish baskets including the crispy bones too.Price: RM 35.00

Next, we had the Truffled Hamachi where it is another item which is famous in Ploy@ Clearwater. The Truffled Hamachi Sashimi drizzled in yuzu truffle sauce. The fresh hamachi is simply fresh and the taste is amazingly good and it is fresh and bringing the light sweetness to it. I am totally falling in love with it and the truffle is really good and delicious.Price: RM 55.00

We started the meal with the Spicy Miso Soup. The Spicy Miso Soup is being served with fresh loster meat in Japanese Inaka Miso Soup with white radish, mirin and bonita flakes. The taste of Spicy Miso Soup is very delicious and the blend of the delights is not too spicy and the taste is simply superb and amazingly good. After the bowl of the Spicy Miso Soup, I could not believe that I have been slurping till the last drop of the bowl.Price: RM 30.00

Ended our meals with the desserts,. sticky date pudding, durian panna cotta and creme caramel. The desserts is simply good where I am falling in love with the durian panna cotta. This is where they use Raja Kunyit durian in their desserts which makes it so delicious.The fragrant from the durian itself makes the overall taste just nice with the ommph of the durian blend.Price: RM 10.50

Last but not least, we had the Smoked Duck Breast with Chicken Ham Pizza. Awesome pizza with the thin crust and topped with scrumptious of ham and yummy duck breast meat. The thin crust pizza is being topped with the avacado sauce and it is sprinkle with the flying fihs roe on top. I love the duck breast meat which is simply juicy and with the avacado sauce that topped with it, is just superb and I wanted more.Price: RM 28.00
