The humble establishment boats a homey feel with cheeky piggy-themed bric-a-bracs to enliven the atmosphere. Diners could enjoy honest home-prepared food within a cozy and fuss-free environment. For light eats, go for the promising soup………..

…………… without further ado, sink your teeth into what could potentially be the best appetizer, roasted pork meat. As if cholesterol can't get better than this, hehe………

POC ROAST (MYR 18) 200g prime belly cut marinated overnight and roasted with chunky cut carrots and potatoes, served with applesauce. Only limited portions are available daily, therefore it’s better to ring up prior to your visit to avoid any disappointment.

Seeking flavor-soaked porchine nosh? Then this supreme succulence certainly fits the bill perfectly. POC CHOPS (MYR 16)

Grilled shoulder chops served with garlic sauce, mashed potato and coleslaw.

Meat is thoroughly marinated and tasted lusciously to the palate, albeit the slightly simple presentation. The creamy mashed potato is good, comes with some light milkiness and not too dry with the equally tart homemade coleslaw too.

Don't miss the restaurant's own-made porky burger that is on par with those big names that are already known to the foodies of Klang Valley.

POC BURGER (MYR 16)

Patty, lettuce, onions, enoki and cheese served with fries and coleslaw.

The meaty patty is very juicy and tender at the same time, imparting its glorious jus when biting them. Apart from that, the portion is well prepared just nice for everyone’s ease of consumption whereby one need not to eat clumsily with all fillings tumbling down as you try to chomp down the huge sandwiched buns decently (=After a satisfying and flavourful feast, it’s time to clear the throat with some refreshing chillers!

I ordered the special not-in-the-menu spaghetti aglio olio. It took them a while to serve. The pasta was a bit hard for my liking. And the pork bacon bits were small and little. What I like about this dish is the halved cherry tomatoes that added a bit of exciting, sourness to the otherwise, quite mediocre pasta.

Having demoralized with the POC roast, I was greeted with quite a surprisingly plate of POC Chops. The chops are nicely marinated and perfectly grilled. Although the meat was thick, the insides was well-cooked. I like the fact that it's grilled until it's slightly charred. For sides, we have a scoop of mash potatoes and another scoop of coleslaw, both were decent but nothing extraordinary. For RM16, this is a much better option and taste better too.

Seeing there's a new restaurant nearby, I went to check it out. I ordered the Special Roast Pork for sharing and waited anxiously as I were quite hungry. To my dismay, it arrived with only a few pieces of roasted pork which looks like the ones you can get from any chinese kopitiam. To top it off, it cost blardy RM18 for such a small portion! Even the greens and potatoes were measly small in portion. Taste was above average, crispy skin but nothing to shout about. For that price and portion, I wo

Wifey didn’t know what to order for drinks, so I told her to get the strawberry fizz. I secretly wanted to try that out as well, but didn’t want the entire cup. The drink came in a jiffy, and we need to stir it up a bit as the strawberry mixture is at the bottom. A bit sweet, but still acceptable as the ice diluted it some. Priced at RM5 a glass, it was well worth the amount paid.

The drinks here in Pig Out Café is reasonable. The passionfruit fizz is priced at RM5, which I think was decent. As expected, it tasted of fizzy soda water with some passionfruit mixture in it. Slightly sweet, but goes well with the food. It cleanses the palate with a citrus-y aftertaste, and the amount of ice given was adequate. Definitely recommended, and well worth the amount paid.

I ordered the Pig out Café Chop as it sounded pretty interesting from the menu. There were two big pieces of grilled pork chops served with garlic sauce, mashed potatoes and coleslaw. The pork chops were juicy and tender. The best thing about it, it is boneless. The mash potato was so-so, a bit too thick for my liking. The coleslaw wasn’t really cold enough. The garlic sauce went well with the pork chop. Overall, a good piece of meat, but mediocre side dishes.

The spaghetti Aglio Olio in Pig Out Café is quite nice. The spaghetti was done al dente, just cooked long enough that it is neither crunchy nor too soft. Aglio Olio means garlic and oil, hence it is expected that there will not be much ingredients in the spaghetti. There were some cherry tomato halves in it, and some pepper flakes on top for the added flavour. Quite nice and refreshing, doesn’t give you the stodgy aftertaste. Definitely recommended.

I usually pass by the FAS field on the way home, so I have seen the development of Park Lane Commercial Hub since day one. I was eager to see what shops would be opened there, as there were advertisements about plenty of eatery stores there. I was eager to see what shops would be opened there, as there were advertisements about plenty of eatery stores there. Couple of days ago, when I passed by, there was this new restaurant called Pig Out Café. Intrigued, wifey and I decided to pay them a visit. Parking is free for now, since the place is not entirely operational yet. We went there and ordered. There weren’t that many patrons when we arrived, but the place was definitely bustling when we left. So we ordered, and the food came fairly quickly. First was our entrée of Pig Out Café Roast. Essentially roast pork, it is a 200g pork belly cut marinated overnight and roasted with chunky cut carrots and potatoes and served with applesauce. I thought that the skin was a bit too hard, tooth-breakingly crunchy actually. Other than that, it was top class roast pork. Limited portions daily, it is well worth the amount of RM18 paid.

Gettin' piggy with it at this cafe that opened this week, promising a primrose path of pork in Kelana Jaya's fledgling Parklane commercial center. The marquee attraction: Roast pork belly, 200 irresistible grams of meat marinated overnight & served with chunky-cut carrots, potatoes & applesauce (RM18 only). Grilled pork chop with garlic sauce, coleslaw & creamy-flavorsome mashed potatoes (RM16). Pig Out's food features a home-cooked feel, not a restaurant's polish; this is honest fare, without

Spaghetti bolognese with pork meatballs (RM16). Servings are generous; our only quibble is that some of these recipes can seem heavy on the salt.

Caesar salad with own-smoked bacon (RM12, prices are nett for now). It's like eating at a favorite aunt's house or at a potluck where friends spent days poring over the menu & pouring every ounce of energy into making each dish.

But accidents can happen: This cottage pie (RM7) emerged burnt at the bottom, with overly charred minced pork beneath the mashed potatoes.
