Wantan Noodle It’s been sometime since I last went to Kuantan for some short escape from the hustle and bustle of the city in KL, in search for some real homey food. This small peaceful town actually houses quite a lot of local delights that are freshly made, almost without much preservative.Just like this plate of decent wan tan noodle. Am pretty sure everyone has heard and even tried this common fare at any place. But the difference would be on the types of ingredients they used. In this case, you won’t see any read ‘char siew’, but instead got replaced with flavorful braised meat and mushroom slices, chicken slices, fish cakes, dumplings and vegetables. The dumplings are bit bland, so you better pair it with the pickled green chillies for some kick. Nevertheless, the dumpling skin is very silky smooth! One things to highlight is that the mushroom slices are really nicely marinated with all the sauces and thus, very delish to the tastebud. Love it!
