Visited this restaurant last month, the restaurant is very big and nicely decorated and the staff there are very friendly.I ordered unagi kabayaki to salmon sashimi set, the set cost around RM50. The unagi taste very soft, when put into mouth the meat melt immediately. The rice also nicely cooked. Then we shared some tempura and other dishes. All dishes also very nice. continue reading

Ozeki Japanese Restaurant is one of my recent visit. The restaurant is located at Wisma TA and I spotted the restaurant when I am on my way to visit some friends who are just working around the corner. The restaurant is located at the corner of Wisma TA which is well located and easily spotted place too. In front, there is a big menu of the food of the restaurant for us to see as well.We make the order of the Oyster set which come with a salad as well as a rice together in the meal. The This is where the oyster is shimmered and served with the black soy sauce as well . The dish looks temptating where the oysters is quite fresh. Unfortunately, the taste is very salty overall which we had triedPrice: RM 29.50 continue reading

continue reading

One of my longtime favorite haunts in KL, though my visits here have become infrequent in recent years as Japanese restaurants run rampant across the city. Ozeki features one of the most extensive menus ever, with a remarkable range of both traditional recipes and avant-garde delicacies that make repeat visits essential. Battera sushi (Osaka-style pressed sushi with marinated mackerel). A throwback to how sushi was prepared in parts of Japan decades ago. Might not be for everyone though; the mackerel tastes pretty fishy and vinegary, with a whole lotta rice in each piece. Yuzu sorbet _ a refreshing treat, laced with tiny bits of citrus fruit _ & chocolate chili ice cream (too much spice overwhelmed the chocolate flavor). continue reading
