The thing I love the most about this dish is the tao foo! You might not be used to the taste of this as it’s different than the conventional ones you get out there. The texture is harder, probably because it is not made from eggs but more of rice and flour. It’s like the softer version of seafood tao foo in vegetarian form.
If you notice the price for this dish, it’s actually pretty pricey. What? Only Fried Mushroom at RM15.90 per plate? Please don’t be terrified! I can assure you that the moment you put this into your mouth, you will forget about the price like instantly! This is like one of the best Butter Milk Fried Abalone Mushroom dish I have had! First, it’s fried to a golden brown crisp, topped with some fried oats (I suspect) and the special butter milk sauce. This dish is so aromatic that you could smell it from a distance, of course being aromatic is not enough It’s gonna taste good too in the mouth! And it doesn’t disappoint in both expect.
This Teo Chew style Vegetarian Fish Roll is ordinary. It’s nice, but there’s nothing really great to scream about. Organic Recipe offers a few more styles of cooking for its Vegetarian Fish Roll. The last I tried, which was special sauce (no photos unfortunately) was pretty good and was praised by all my family members! Then again, ultimately it also depends on your preferences. 
Love the combination of these drink! That’s why my blog exists too! But really, the honey smells good. And the Raw Honey is also for sale in their organic shop, selling at an affordable price! The next round I am going to get the honey, yes I am!
Nam Yu Claypot. We ordered this Namyu Pot and consisted of tau fu pok, carrots, peas, cabbages, shitake mushrooms and button mushrooms. We regretted ordering this after taking the first bite. The sauce has very strong namyu taste but it was slightly diluted. We find it hard to accept the nam yu sauce and just finish the ingredients rather than taking the sauce.
Special Sauce Shitake. My father has been here before and he strongly recommended this dish during our visit. The shitake was cooked with "kam heong" taste and it has strong flavour of kam heong. Although it was slightly oily but I love this dish. I find myself keep on scooping the kam heong sauce and the mushrooms were springy too. It was not too salty. A recommended dish.
Claypot Bittergout. During our first visit to this shop, we ordered the claypot bittergout. The dish consisted of Chinese black mushrooms, baby corn, peas and bittergout. The claypot broth was not too thick but it has its taste, not too salty. The ingredients were a lot. I like the peas because it was crunchy. Overall, this was an average dish and not too heavy flavoured.
Mixed asparagus. The asparagus was stir fried with carrot and some oyster mushrooms. The portion of oyster mushrooms were very little and sliced to very thin piece. The asparagus was thin and they were crunchy. The taste of this dish was normal and nothing to shout about. As compared to other heavy flavoured dish, this was under par to it. Too clear for our liking.
House Special Shitake with Bittergout. This dish came in very dark color. The bittergout was stir fried with their special shitake and special sauce. The bittergout was thinly sliced and it was very bitter. The sauce was slightly pepperish. The amount of shitake was too little for me. Overall, I think this was a heavy-flavoured dish and not bad overall. Can give it a try.
Claypot curry fish head. The claypot curry fish head consisted of brinjals, long beans, lettuce, tao fu pok and vegetarian fish. It was served in a hot claypot. Although the curry lacked of the real fish taste, it was very tasty despite being vegetarian dish. It was thick and not too spicy. I kept on drinking the soup. The vegetarian fish was soft and the ingredients were good too.
Mixed fresh fruit tea. The first time I visited this restaurant and I saw many tables ordering this drink, but I didnt order. So this time, I ordered the mixed fresh fruit tea. The drink was served hot in a special jug and small cups. On the first sip, it tasted sour and very funny to me. However, the more I drank it, the more soothing the drink was and I eventually quite like it.
