Signature Dishes
With no interest whatsoever at the station in Seremban, I am nevertheless pretty keen with the signature food at the Old Seremban Station Kopitiam. According to the journey Malaysia, Seremban being the capital of Negri Sembilan was initially provided with two roads to serve the needs of the mining community. The town's quaint Railway Station was built in 1924 also to transport tin to ports nearby. The infrastructure of old Seremban was centred around transporting raw materials and tin ore and the community, mainly Chinese traders built their lives around the mining industry. Today, the tin mines have all but disappeared. Seremban is now the main transportation town for Negri Sembilan and the community serves the light and heavy industrial parks that have sprung up to replace the disused tin mines. One can still trace the outlines of colonial town planning that once made Seremban a popular town with the English. The gardens, the train station and administrative buildings retain a small section of its history. The food is interestingly portraying a lot of the local favourites, which is easily illustrated by the Old Seremban Station Kopitiam’s menu. Food and culture and where it originates is closely related and that is the best way to discover and study their culture and history.

saya berkesempatan mencuba chicken chop yang ada di sini. ternyata ia cukup lazat dan begitu menyelerakan sekali. chicken chop di sini agak menarik dan unik kerana saiznya sedikit berbeza seperti di tempat lain. ia dipotong mengikut kreativiti tersendiri. selain itu,kentangnya juga cukup rangup sekali bersama salad yang cukup teristimewa. sungguh mengujakan!!

Chicken riceThis IS BBQ sauce chicken rice.The chicken is really tender with crispy skin and top with some sesame.The sesame make this chicken rice even tastier.The BBQ sauce is very tasty and rich in taste. It comes with a bowl of white rice and some cucumber and tomato. The chicken portion is standard for one person.This chicken rice is actually quite nice for me.
