On the morning of the second day, we went to try out Ocean Seafood. Much to our dismay, they ran out of few types of fishes and introduced us to this Grouper (Dragon Tiger Grouper something) that cost us RM50 for one small fish! Well, it’s not exactly that small but I supposed it was puny for its species. I have heard of this species before and knew that it has always been expensive… We ordered anyways and thoroughly burnt our pocket.Generally in terms of food, Ocean Seafood seemed to be slightly better in taste and the crabmeat tofu was pretty special, like shark fin soup. Of course there wasn’t any shark fin inside, I have sworn off it long time ago. Apart from that, it was really an ordinary meal to me. And apart from the fish, everything else was priced reasonably. The expensive soya steamed grouper. RM52The meat was definitely very fresh, didn’t taste like it had been frozen before.Salted Egg Fried Mantis Prawn. RM14This was actually tofu mashed with crab meats, like shark-fin soup style but no worries, no fins involved. RM16 continue reading

At dusk, Tanjung Sepat is a beautiful place that is perfect for photography. Any photography enthusiast would be very happy with the scenery.Dinner was none other than the famous, fresh and affordable seafood dishes. We ordered the Marmite Crab and Ginger stirred fried lala (mussels) and true enough about the freshness of the seafood served around this neighbourhood..And don’t forget the simple yet delicious Oyster omelet and Stir fried vegetable. All for only RM 68 for 4 people, including white rice. My verdict, this place had got awesomely fresh seafood dishes but a tip to all tourists; do not visit any toilets around this area before any meal. Locate a petrol station for toilets along the way and make sure you bring lots of sanitiser if you are obsessed with hygiene. continue reading

Seafood is definitely not to be missed whenever you here at Tanjung Sepat. Of course, there are many seafood restaurants around, but which serves better spread? That’s another story I personally quite favor this restaurant that also entertain its diners with the nearby “Lover’s Bridge”. I had first visited this place some time ago during university days, upon great recommendation by my seniors, then And now, I would say they still do pretty good job in maintaining their food quality. Yum!For this deep fried squid, after one bite, for sure you’re gonna hooked on for more They can be quite addictive as they are very fresh and chewy. Lightly battered and then fried till golden brown, they’re indeed very awesome! And they don’t taste too oily either, good job! You could also dip in some chilies sauce for extra flavor of spiciness. continue reading

It's located right next to the bridge. I guess everyone who has been to Lover's Bridge will have meal at here. This shop is kinda famous, with the delicious seafood they serve and the price is reasonable as well. However, I feel very disappointed because the service is extremely bad. Perhaps the WORST service I ever received. Fine.. apart from the service, the food is actually not bad. The environmentThe dishes that we orderedOverall, the foods were really delicious. Their famous dishes include steamed lala, chafing dish oysters, fish ball soups, and salty egg yolk fried squids continue reading
