Nong & Jimmy (Moved) New Location

Have heard of this place and finally visited it this week. It does get packed over the weekends so finding a seat might be an issue but once you do just order & before you know it the food arrives. Started the night with some grilled cockles which is awesome. It didn't come with sand or grime. Then the rest of the dishes arrived. 这一款泰式芒果沙拉就还好，我并没有非常的喜欢。它是以芒果丝为主的，别以为它只是酸而已，除了酸，它的味道是非常辣的。有点超过了我可以接受的限度。所以我也没怎么吃它。只是它上面放的那些鱿鱼干则非常的香。

这是他们的泰国炒饭，虽然看起来淡淡的，没什么色彩，可是它的味道是还不错的。炒饭里面有许多的蛋，虾子等等。饭炒得粒粒分明，锅气十足，他们的饭吃起来非常的柔软。非常棒。

这里的黑椒炒蟹也是非常的棒。价钱也合理，他们卖一公斤RM60。黑椒的味道非常的香，味道辣辣的令人开胃。蟹肉新鲜肥美，也煮得很入味。不过，他们的螃蟹壳敲得有点不够碎，客人要自己用力的敲了。

非常喜欢他们的这一款烧墨鱼。它的味道非常的香，墨鱼拿去腌制了才烧，吃起来味道咸咸的，外皮被烧得很脆口，吃下去又超有嚼劲的，可说是很有层次感。非常喜欢这一道菜。

这里的拉拉味道很好。用的拉拉都是新鲜的，份量就适中。这一款是煮湿的，汤汁的味道都陷进拉拉的肉里面，吃起来味道非常的鲜甜，还有汤汁里的香菜的味道，非常清香，是我喜欢的类型。

吃泰国餐就是要吃他们的东炎汤。这里的东炎汤颜色鲜艳，非常吸引人。它的味道很浓很辣还非常的呛，感觉有点招架不住，汤里面的用料也蛮多的，有大虾，墨鱼，蘑菇等等。爱吃辣的人应该会喜欢。

非常喜欢他们这里的炸油条，他们的炸油条是小小的。比起一般的油条这一个吃起来更加的脆，而且不会有难以咬断的情况。他们的油条有给加央让客人们沾。加央的味道非常的香班兰叶的味道。整个非常棒。

身为饭桶的我点这道虾仁炒饭的时候还以为是普通的炒饭。米粒粒粒分明而且锅气十足。虾仁也不少，每一口除了能吃到新鲜的虾仁，还有为这炒饭增色不少的蛋香。虽然看似普通，但是配上海鲜一起吃，太棒了。

点了一份泰国料理绝对不能错过的酸辣汤。汤头非常鲜美因为里头都有很多大大小小的海鲜配料等等。虽然如此，我还是觉得味道不够浓郁而且对我来说辣度也稍嫌不足。但是酸度还是足够的。

来到这里不得不吃的就是这里的海鲜了！尤其是非常畅销的烤螃蟹，可惜我们来晚了，都卖光了。点了一份烤蛤。价钱不贵而且份量蛮多。而且每一颗都还算肥美。沾着这里特制的酸辣辣椒一起吃。非常鲜美。

I bet many people know Nong and Jimmy because it is always CROWDED. Sometimes you need to wait for table. The foods are awesome, cheap and delicious. Being a tom yam hunter and number 1 lover, I highly recommend the claypot tom yam soup there <3The most famous dishes there are the mini yao char koay (deep fried crullers) and charcoal grilled crabs. There are 2 noticable Thai restaurants in Ampang area. One inside the hill, the other is this one. Both share the same similarities - VERY CROWDED. But then you better come here early. Not because of the seat but because of the food. The food they served everyday are so limited, this time I went there, I dont have any crab to eat. It is such a disappointing because their crab is so nice here. Of course not to forget their tomyam as well. Very sour and spicy.

There are only two reasons why I dine here at Nong & Jimmy. The tom yam and the fried rice. Even my friends came all the way from Petaling Jaya just to taste both the dishes. It couldn’t be that bad right? The fried rice may look simple with only prawns but it’s superb in taste! The rice is done just right, not too oily, not too dry and not too wet. Known for its grilled seafood, Nong & Jimmy is the place to be that suit any taste buds. Try the grilled crabs in its original state. It has limited variety of curry crabs and black pepper crabs. The original grilled crabs could unleash the crab’s natural sweetness where you could taste them without the intrusion of other flavours. The meat is sweet and tender while retaining its juiciness. The only downside here is that it’s quite expensive for a kg of crab. I forgot how much it costs now but b
