New World Park Food Court is a food court serving a very wide range of cuisines. The following review is all about the Char Hor Fun stall at this new world park food court.Char Mee HoonThis dish is the Char Mee Hoon (Wet noodles). The noodles is too soft and the wet noodles sauce is too watery. The bbq pork (Char Siew) used is too dry (lean meat). They also added some other ingredients in this but it does not taste really good actually.

I was having this Fish ball noodles at one of the stalls inside New World Park. At first, i though the fish ball noodles is just normal noodles that comes with very ordinary fish balls. But out of my surprise, there was lots of different fish balls given in the soup! Beside fish ball, i had meat ball , Hock Chew fish ball , sotong ball. The hock chew fish ball is quite special as it has fillings inside!

I am not really a fan of ice kacang actually but due to super thirsty on that time,I give it a shot~!RM 2.50Overall, I think that the sweetness level is average.Price is very reasonable as well.Portion is quite a big bowl too xDAs usual, the ice kacang contains all the ingredients that any other ordinary ice kacang will have. They do not add any special ingredients xDOverall, not bad actually

The plate that I order is RM 4.50 for the large, but I did not notice how much is the small.
RM 4.00 perhaps?

The taste is good.
The spiciness level is great too.
It have everything that an ordinary char koay teow have too.
Well, it serves with three big prawns which is a thumb up from me.
The portion of the serving is average too.
The only thing that I dislike for the char koay teow is I find that the koay teow
is quite cold during I ate them although they just cooked it.

Overall, a very satisfy meal but there are still plenty of room for improvements ~!

New World Park is a food court located a few steps away from the hotel I stayed, Tunes Hotel Penang. It has all kinds of local favourites, from curry laksa to roti canai. The selection simply doesn't bore me. In Penang, I can finally experience the taste of true Penang Char Koay Kak. The price is considered quite low, and the portion is huge, as they put everything in abundance. The bean sprouts are fresh and alot, the cubes of noodle are plentiful too, but honestly I personally don't fancy much

In Penang, I can finally experience the taste of true Penang Char Koay Kak. The price is considered quite low, and the portion is huge, as they put everything in abundance. The bean sprouts are fresh and alot, the cubes of noodle are plentiful too, but honestly I personally don't fancy much of this. They have been overly generous for the soy sauce and oyster sauce until it turns out overly salty for my taste.

It has a variety of fishballs which is serving together like saitoo fish ball; sotong fish balls as well as some yao char kuih and seaweed to comes with it. The soup is really nice which i am falling in love with it. Penang Char Koay Teow - RM4.50The Char Kuew Teow here is delicious even without huge prawns. It consists of generous amount of flat rice noodles stir fried in a hot cast iron wok hence it has a lot of 'Wok Hei'. It is aromatised with garlic in lard oil, crisp juicy bean sprouts and and slices of "Lap Cheong" slices. "Lap Cheong" is a dried, hard and sweet Chinese wax sausage usually made from pork.

Chicken & Duck Rice is one of the stalls available in the food court. The roasted chicken is nothing special, and the meat is rather tough. However, thanks to the sweet and salty gravy that makes a good complement to the roasted chicken. The roasted pork is beautifully roasted, taste so flavourful with the crispy skin.

New World Park is another place for a delighting meal. This time back to Penang, another exploration on meal will be at the Swatao Lane or New World Park. A meal not to be missed is the Ais Kachang which is one of the favorite. The Fish Ball Tang Hoon ( Stall 102-H-22). The tang hoon soup with the Saitow Fish Ball. The soup was nice and the fish ball is also very superb. The combination of the tanghoon soup which the fish ball makes it no 1. the fishball is bouncy makes me fall in love with it.
