It was 3PM, I happen to have appointment around this area therefore I decided to drop by Nando’s for my late lunch. Lunch hour has pass, the shopping mall getting quite around this hour. Of course same goes to all eateries.I do not want to take any heavy food hence I ordered Chicken Wrap RM13.90 otherwise I would like to have quarter roasted chicken instead. Ever think of ordering dessert from Nando's? Generally the restaurant Nando's make us think of chicken and still, chicken. But take a look at their chocolate dessert. Texture wise this is not the moist soft chocolate cake type. It was kept in the fridge before serve and that the chocolate cake is slightly hard. Chocolate wise, it is not the expensive chocolate taste. But overall ok, something different from the usual peri peri chicken meals or fries.

Ice Lemon Tea. We ordered the free flow ice lemon tea. Since it was mentioned free flow, after we finished drinking it, we waved our hands to at least 3 waiters to re-fill our ice lemon tea, but no avail, waited for 15 minutes and still no refill. The service was so unattentive. Finally after 15 minutes, our re-filled lemon tea arrived. The ice lemon was not too thick, it has the tangy lemon taste.

Chicken Strips with Rice. A group of us went into Nando's to eat its signature grilled chicken. One of my friend felt that she might get sore throat after eating grilled stuffs, so she ordered the chicken strips with rice instead. The flavour was hot peri peri. The rice was topped with five pieces of chicken strips together with the hot peri peri sauce. The strips were not too dry and not too salty.

这个套餐是两人份的，我觉得会比较值得。因为两人份的关系，所以一人都可以享用到半只鸡肉呢。今天的鸡肉都很鲜嫩多汁，就连鸡胸也是很容易就咬开了呢。不过鸡肉局部有一点硬

这个饭我也忘了是什么名字了。只是知道名字好像蛮长的。这个米饭本身是没有什么味道的。不过里面混合了很多杂菜，所以虽然是没有味道的，所以米饭都充满了蔬菜的味道，也是蛮香的

这里的coleslaw我还期待吃到的就是那种很清爽的感觉。想不到这里的质感都是有一点腻的质感。我觉得那个酱料占了很大的原因，然后就是里面的蔬菜切到也是蛮大条的，所以整体吃起来不是很棒

Hmmm..well, this particular branch at Suria KLCC seems to be rather understaffed. Service can get a bit slow and during peak hours the dishes can arrive at the table sometimes overcooked. Aaah.. well,still it's packed to the brim during lunch and dinner times.. because hey, who can resist the temptation of those deliciously roasted chicken drenched with the spicy peri-peri sauce ? Grilled chicken with hot peri-peri. The hot peri-peri sauce covered almost the whole chicken drumstick. This sauce was so hot until it burned my tongue and I had to drink lots of water, very spicy! The chicken meat was soft and moist even though it was being flamed grilled. The sweet corn was burnt at some parts but as a whole, it was sweet and juicy. The fries were thickly cut and salty.

Roast chicken mild peri peri. The chicken came with two side dishes of your choice, so I chose chips and coleslaw. The chicken drumstick was burnt at the edges but it was tolerable for me. The skin was crispy at certain parts. The meat was moist. The mild peri-peri sauce has some tint of spiciness and not too spicy. The coleslaw was slightly sour and too moist for my liking.

KLCC branch Friday evening. Very chaotic, servers all over the show dropping plates etc. Our full chicken tasted microwaved very rubbery not at all like the crispy BBQ skin one expects from Nandos. The fries were soggy and the coleslaw was luke warm. The bottomless drinks were not forthcoming (unlike TGI Fridays where we had the best service) in short, nothing was right. Really disappointed had been looking forward to it all day. Will not return.

Nando's is a casual dining restaurant group originating from South Africa with a Portuguese/Mozambican theme. Nando's specializes in chicken dishes with either lemon and herb, medium, hot, extra hot or extra extra hot Peri-Peri marinades. Our favourite menu here is Espatada (comes with rice and coleslaw) where the chicken meat is grilled on a metal stick. The chicken is marinated and the skin is crispy. Price range RM30++.

There is always a long line at Nando'sbefore they refurbished the restaurant, service was very badthey were understaffed perhaps, but I had to wait for my quarter chicken for at least 45 minsnot to mention that they always get the side dishes wrongbut even with such poor service, people still flock to Nando's because of it's great tasting peri peri sauce and the new look helps too
