continue reading

Tom yum soup is a dish that everyone will order in Thai restaurant. Tom yum soup here is more to clear base. But the spiciness maintained. Never ever underestimate their clear soup, you need alot of water to ease the spiciness. Ingredients wise you can choose between chicken tom yum soup or seafood tom yum soup. One thing I've realized in tom yum soup is the amount of basil leaves and vegetables that added some smell to the tom yum. Overall nice. continue reading

continue reading

One does not exit a Thai restaurant without a taste of their tom yum gung. And that is how I benchmark of their food, if a Thai restaurant serve a subpar tom yum gung, it's not worthy to be called a good Thai restaurant. The tom yum in myElephant did not disappoint. It's sour and spicy, a basic requirement for a good tomyum. The spices were rich and flavourful. With every sip, you can taste the spices that were used in the concoction, especially the lemongrass. The amount of seafood was also abundant and there were chunks of tasty tomatoes soaked in the soup. Goes very well with rice or on it's own! continue reading

what i dislike about my elephant's soups is that it's full of unedible ingredientswhen the bowl is served, it looks huge but after a few sips of the soup you'll find that there are ingredients such as a whole lemon grass in the bowl which cannot be eatenthen there are also loads of kafir leaves, basil leaves, and coriander leaves that you can't eat because it was meant to provide fragrance only continue reading
