Pickled mustard (“hum choy”) soup with white rice. This stall specialized in boiled soup and it has a few soup varieties. The pickled mustard has beancurd, onions and tomato. The soup was hot and salty, exactly the same taste as our home-cooked picked mustard soup. The beancurd was slightly rough in texture, bland, while the onions and tomato gave a slightly sweet taste to the soup.

I took curry vegetables, stuffed fu chuk and potato slices. For the curry vegetables, the curry tasted mild and not spicy, the vegetables were crunchy though; The stuffed fu chuk was indeed a big piece, the fish paste in it was springy, and the light brown sauce was not too salty; The potato slices was soft and the sauce was slightly spicy due to some chopped chilli, but it was sweet.

This Chinese mixed rice stall is one of the stall in the food court that I visit it often. Although it is not much variety but the food is good enough. I took the fried oyster mushroom, stuffed fu chuk and stir fried brinjal. For the fried oyster mushroom, the batter was a bit soggy, not really crispy per se. The osyster mushroom was springy and slight salty. The stir fried brinjal was soft and the sauce was sweet.

Chicken teriyaki rice with miso soup. The miso soup was hot and slightly sour. It has a little bit of seaweed taste only. The sesame sprinkled on top of the chicken was fragrant. The brown teriyaki sauce was sweet and was not diluted. I love the onions especially. The texture of the chicken meat was easy to chew, and sweet. After a few visits, there are some hit and miss from this stall.

Chicken udon that contained sweet corn, hard-boiled egg, cabbage and topped with some spring onions. I wish they could separate the chicken slices from the soup as the chicken was soggy. I took out the skin and ate the meat only. The meat was soft and sweet. The broth was hot and sweet due to the sweet corn, and it was not that bad, but nothing spectacular though.

The spicy chicken teriyaki bento set came with rice, salad and watermelon. The price of this bento set was relatively cheap, so I do not have high expectation on it. The chicken was spicy no doubt, but the teriyaki flavor was not strong, slightly sweet. I don’t like the texture of the chicken as the skin was soggy and has a strong freeze-chicken smell. I only like the sesame onions on top of the chicken.

There are a few version of broth for the yong tao fu, I chose clear soup broth this time. The clear soup was not too salty but it was plain, so I have to sprinkle lots of pepper to it. The soup might be too plain for some people, but to me it was good enough. The various fish balls were springy and sweet, no fishy taste at all. The fu chuk was thick and slightly salty. The artificial crab meat was sweet and soft.

As one of the main store that sell drinks to the food court patron, they sell quite a wide range of drinks from hand made drinks like tea to canned drinks like ice lemon tea. For some reason i did not buy my drinks here but i buy the fruits that is being sell over here. They do sell fruit like papaya, pineapple and few other choices. The fruit sold is quite fresh, and is very affordable at RM1.00, cold and fresh served, nice refreshment after lunch

Over here the 3rd floor food court, is a place where many office folks nearby Menara Citibank will like to come, and this store is one of the choice for many office people. The taste of the ingredients is rather normal, but the turn off point is the MSG soup used, which make me thirsty after having my meal here

The food court here is quite stuffy sometimes as the air ventilation system is not so good. It is good to have an ice cold drink in here while dining. This stall sell drinks and fruits as well. The mango juice was cold. It is made from cordial mango juice and not freshly squeezed from mango. The juice was not really thick, slightly on the diluted side. It was not too sweet too.

This stall offers quite a good variety of yong tao fu. My usual options would be chee cheong fun, stuffed fish paste, fried fu chuk and crabstick. I chose the curry broth to go with the ingredients. The broth was powdery and not too thick. It was not spicy unless I add on the sambal. The chee cheong fun was smooth and thin. The stuffed fish paste was not so stringy, and slightly salty. The fried fu chuk was crispy and salty.
