This is definitely the cheapest place to dine if you are on a tight budget which I am. Whenever I come here, I am free to order anything as I know the prices are low here. I ordered the Teo Chew Steamed Fish which was quite soft and succulent and juicy. It is served with the ubiquitious steamed tofu, tomatoes, salted vegetables. It was quite big too and well worth the price. I always like the Four Vegetables here which comprises of my favourite petai, long beans, ladies fingers and also egg plan

I always like the Four Vegetables here which comprises of my favourite petai, long beans, ladies fingers and also egg plant which are all vegetables that top my list. They are cooked with belacan and sambal.

The Sizzling Tofu with Minced Pork was also very tasty. The tofu was very soft despite it being fried. I for one, love tofu like crazy and will go on tofu ordering craze whenever I eat economic rice!

This is one place which is so convenient to my office, and very cheap and reasonably priced and most importantly delicious!

I like the fried bihun with bean sprouts, prawns and also onions. Somehow it was too dry and too oily. The Hokkien Mee was just normal. I am not a fan of hokkien mee either. My favourite vegetables is the brinjals, long beans, ladies fingers and petai. This is the best dish ever though a little oily.

Meals here are quite reasonably priced so naturally when my colleagues wanted to eat da chao, I suggested this place. We ordered the Assam Flying Fish where the fish was very succulent and the gravy very thick and tasty. The Tofu with Gravy and some minced pork was surprisingly delicious for a person like me who hates pork. The pork was not too hard and meaty and quite soft.

The vegetables were one that I have never tried before in my life and tasted a little like spring onions.

We sat in the air-conditioned part of the kopitiam as the day was a little warm but that meant that the drinks were more expensive by RM 0.20.

For lunch today, we ordered the Steamed Nyonya Flying Fish (RM 21). The sauce is quite tasty and a bit spicy. There are a few ladies fingers and also brinjal thinly sliced. The fish is very succulent. We also ordered the spicy belacan stir-fry vegetables (RM 8) which cooked till a tad too salty. The vegetables are quite fresh. The best part is that these two dishes only cost RM 31.50 which is quite reasonable for a big fish included.
