BY盐小粒

Lot 10 Hutong is a clean place for dining. There are a lot of choices of food and the environment is nice, air-con andcomfortable. I ordered the chicken chop spagetti, it is big portion and tasted nice. The portion made me full. For the char siew wantan mee, the char siew is abit not enough for my appetite, the portion of mee is larger than the char siew.

I will rather the portion be served with slightly bigger portion to tally with the price of the serving, this will attract more crowds on this tasty plate.

Don had something called 三拼饭, which was actually Chicken Rice with three types of meats. There were two types of pork, known as Siew Yok and Char Siew respectively, and Roasted Duck. Frankly, the Char Siew was extremely delicious without too much fat. It cost him around RM14.00 per plate.

I ordered a bowl of Noodles with Ricewine and Chicken. After eating a few mouthful of it, I personally thought that my grandma cooks the best of it indeed, because the smell would be way stronger than that of what I had in Lot 10 Hutong Heritage Food Village. But, I enjoyed the spiciness of the soup caused by the ginger inside even though I never like to eat ginger.

I am still looking forward to another day trip to Lot 10 Hutong Heritage Food Village even though I dislike the crowd in there. I am still yet to try out the other foods available within the small place!

Most of the high-profile stalls were closed by the time we arrived for dinner, but luckily, Hon Kee Famous Porridge from Petaling Street still had potfuls of porridge left.

This was the first time we've ever had porridge with raw fish. We didn't know we were supposed to throw the fish into the porridge and let it cook, so we ate it sashimi-style, taking a slice with every spoonful of porridge. Still, we loved how it tasted _ this was our favourite for the evening. Oh, and the side dish of fried pork intestines was sinfully crisp.

Singapore Hokkien Prawn Mee. Despite its bland appearance, it wasn't bad at all; scoop it up with the fresh, sticky-sweet chilli sauce and it's actually rather addictive.

We also sampled the siew bao, pineapple tart and salted egg tart from Mr Siew Bao, which uses a recipe from the reputedly well-known Seremban Kee Mei Siew Pow. Tasted all right, but we were probably too stuffed by now.

I ordered their roast duck rice. Their roast duck rice comes with vegetables and a few pieces of roast duck and quite a big piece. The portion is quite standard for a person. I like their roast duck, the meat is really tender and tasty. Their sauce is delicious and rich flavour, it makes this roast duck taste better. It's really goes well with the rice. The rice is just nicely cooked and really tasty and delicious. The price is quite standard for a big plate like this.
