Matcha Red Bean MochiThis Matcha Red Bean Mochi bun from Lavender holds a bouncy and spongy dough The main bread used is of green tea flavor, while encapsulating a jelly-like whitish filling of mochi, together with sweet red bean. I personally enjoy any fare that combines red bean together with green tea. Both of the make a good marriage, but in this case is bit doubted when mocha is being added. Am not sure if it’s due to the mochi for its glutinous texture that somehow not able to stay harmoniously with the rest of the filling. But taste wise still decently good.

Each branch is uniquely designed, creating a sophisticated yet comfortable ambience for an all-day-dining experience. Certain branch with bistro serves Salads, Soups, Sandwiches, Pasta and Beverages. I have bought Carrot Sandwich. It is basically a loaf made of carrot. The texture is soft and tasty too. The price is also reasonable as well.

I'm in frequent quest to look for the best tiramisu. And my benchmark has set to the one at Grandeur. So I'm going to compare this to that. I bought this tiramisu to celebrate my uncle's birthday, without knowing what cake he actually likes. But tiramisu is quite a crowd favourite type of cake so I think it's the right choice. This tiramisu is too creamy for my liking. The sponge is also not that tasty but serves as a 'neutralizer' to the heavy cream. There's also minimal coffee flavor which every tiramisu should have. To top if off, the design of the cake isn't something to shout about but I thought the taste would do it's justice. Seems like it's not the case for this particular cake...
