酒店的buffet,偶尔心血来潮也会想去吃,le meridien 的buffet餐厅叫做latest recipe,名字改得普普通通,可是他们的食物还蛮多样化的,其中值得一提的是在japanese station的铁板烧,不管是鸡肉牛肉还是虾,厨师都烧得很出色,不可错过。 continue reading

这一晚,我们在Le Meriedien的Latest Recipe享用了一顿Buffet Dinner。刚抵达时,我们并没有马上入餐厅,而是在Hilton和Le Meridien的hotel lobby闲逛。其实,对我来说,光看lobby,两边我都觉得他们的室内设计挺不错的,但我个人会比较喜欢Le Meridien的。大约傍晚6点,正打算入餐厅时,服务生告诉我们是6点半才开始,不过还是安排了靠窗座位给我们。等待的时刻,反正闲着也没事,就去绕绕看看今晚的食物咯。这里属于international buffet,不管是日本餐、中餐、西餐、或本地的,都能在这里找到。我特别被甜点区给吸引哦,一个有一个漂亮的蛋糕呈现在眼前,看着都好不舍得去把他们给切了。我必须承认说,这里的食材都很新鲜。在teppanyaki的虾肉简直是顶级的,配上独特的酱料,更是一级棒。但由于我个人不吃辣,而师傅却会在煮好的食物上撒上不少胡椒粉,不过这个可以向师傅提出要求的。除了虾肉,还有鱼肉、牛肉、鸡肉可选择。虽然我不是牛肉的忠实粉丝,但这里的beef teppanyaki是挺不错吃的哦。另外,这里必吃的就是他们家的Salmon sashimi!纹路分明的三文鱼肉片加上分布均匀的油脂,入口即化的口感,简直是赞、赞、赞!这个我可没有夸张到哦。有机会来到这里一定要尝尝哦~ 吃了不少重口味的,如果想来点清淡的,他们也有水果或新鲜的蔬菜供客人自制salad哦,salad bar还备上了各种各样的salad dressing,照顾了不同口味的客人们。吃了几轮后,终于是进入甜品的时刻啦。这里的甜品种类其实也不少。蛋糕、fondue、雪糕、waffle、水果等等,就连豆花也有哦 ,口感挺咕溜。虽然雪糕没有很多的口味选择,但旁边架子里却是有好多种toppings供选择哦! 巧克力冰淇淋是他的最爱,竟吃了8粒!而我的就选择了巧克力和咖啡口味的,配上了数种坚果。当晚餐厅里的客人也不少,有的是情侣间的浪漫晚餐、有的是公司员工聚餐、有的是家庭聚餐等。这里高雅的设计与浪漫的气氛,配上美食,可说是值得一去。 continue reading

每当吃buffet时都会不顾一切的拿到一大堆食物后才发现吃不完或拿的并不好吃,在这里就推介下在latest recipe一定不能错过的食物,第一是他们的铁板烧虾,每一次吃都很满意,新鲜的大虾再配上那独特的酱料,一流!还有就是他们的意大利面,厨师都会照着你的个人喜好煮出属于你的意粉。 continue reading

This bright, spacious outlet is best known for its bountiful buffet spread, but its a la carte offerings shouldn't be overlooked. Peking Duck spring rolls, with turnips, cucumber, bean sprouts, bean curd & spicy plum sauce. Healthy, but less flavourful than regular rolls at Chinese outlets. Crespelle di Funghi (mushroom-filled crepes in herb cream reduction with white truffle oil). Best shared; a carb-laden recipe that might grow a bit cloying by the end. Coffee cream on sacher biscuit & crunchy praline with banana crumble tart. A light dessert with decadent flavours, sweet and satisfying. Orange mascarpone cream on almond florentine & warm date cake. The cream seemed a bit stiff and hardened, but everything else on this plate was well-prepared. Cabernet Sangiovese, Col Di Sasso, Castello Banfi (Italy); Pinotage, Two Oceans (South Africa); Shiraz, Wolf Blass Bilyara (Australia).
