King Crab Seafood (Closed)

tasty crab can get from here in king crab at the kelana jaya outlet. my first bite is really memorable of the crab taste. try the Crab opposite Kelana Jaya Station, I have heard quite number of my friends that they like this restaurant as so far I have and this crab is really tasty with the hot spices and cook dry nice to have this with the rice. the crab is fresh and the flesh is delicious

Longevity Noodles. We were celebrating my father's birthday and it is a custom to order noodles for celebration. We ordered this braised longevity noodles and it came cabbages and prawns. The cooking style was very simple and it was sufficient for our taste bud. The noodles were not too salty, just nice for everyone. The prawns were small size but fresh and succulent.

Fried Chicken in Thai sauce. The deep fried chicken was topped with the Thai sauce. This Thai sauce was made up of shredded cucumber, shredded mango, onions and chilli. It was very tangy with some sour taste. The mango also gave the sauce some sourness too. It was not that spicy. The chicken was meaty and it was being deep fried till golden brown. The oiliness was masked by the sauce.

Deep fried fish in sweet and sour sauce. On a normal days, I would prefer sweet and sour pork, but that night, my dining companion wanted this deep fried fish in sweet and sour sauce. The fish was quite meaty and fresh. The sweet and sour sauce does live up to its name, it was slightly sour and sweet. The sauce was not too diluted. I like the sweetness from the onions as well.

Dried beancurd with cucumber "jit gua". Since we were dining in a big group, I let another friend to choose the vegetables. She chose this cucumber "jit gua" with dried beancurd. The cooking style was very simple and plain. The dried beancurd was thick and soft, many layers in between. The "jit gua" was not too crunchy, slightly soft too. Overall, it was a normal dish.

2 style kailan. We dined in a big group that night and we ordered the 2-style kailan. The presentation of this dish looked unbalance because the kailan chunks stacked like a mountain but the deep fried kailan crisps were so little. The kailan chunks were not the extremely thick type and it was not extremely crunchy as well. I would say it tasted not too bad, slightly above average.

Salted Egg Squid. This was a sinfully delicious dish, sinful because of the cholesterol that this dish will give me. The squid was fresh and springy. They were well-coated with the salted egg and being deep fried. It was not really crispy per se, but the salted egg flavour was strong and very delicious. Overall, it was slightly salty and had to be eaten with rice.

Most of the time driving along using LDP, I could not help but notice this big billboard King Crab opposite Kelana Jaya Station, which is not a stranger to most of us yet I have heard quite number of my friends that they like this restaurant as so far I havekelana jaya really have a lot of nice food, have nice view if along the glomac kelana jaya.the crab is really nice. spicy little bit only and the size of the crab is really huge and the meat crab is so fresh and finger lickin good to nice and

这里的生虾面是这里必叫的，采用督亚冷大头河蝦，新鲜的大头虾肉厚鮮甜，虾膏饱满，略经炒熟再配以滑蛋酱汁一起倒入伊面底里，简直色味俱佳。滑蛋酱汁有阵阵蛋香味，还有一点点昭兴酒的味道，和大虾配合真是一绝。

这里的咸蛋蟹的咸蛋比较湿湿，所以可以陪饭吃。这里的螃蟹新鲜多肉，肥美大个，而且这里的咸蛋黄下得刚刚好，不会因为蛋黄放太多而整道菜变得很咸没有了层次，也没有抢走螃蟹原有的鲜味。

这里的招牌豆腐另有一番风味，滑嫩的豆腐浸在浓稠清清的酱汁里。其实这个并没有什么特别，不过他用了咸蛋黄来调味，让原本清清的豆腐突然增加了不同的口感，顿时提升了整道菜肴的层次。

A longtime favourite with a well-deserved reputation for scrumptious seafood. Boiled prawns. Their natural freshness and flavour completely awed us. Bravo! Squid in salted egg. Every bite was a delight. Wish we could have had more. Sang har meen. A hearty portion but somewhat bland. Not as brilliant as Soo Kee's. Creamy butter sauce crab cooked in claypot. We could have licked the bowl clean.

Kam Heong clams (roughly translate to "golden fragrant" clams) were another must-order dish during our visit to King Crab. The clams were big in size, the clam shells were thick and yet the flesh was juicy and big too. The flesh itself were sweet. The clams were stirred fried kam heong style, it was fragrant and quite spicy due to the chilli padi. It also has some curry leaves to add on the spiciness too.

Everytime we step into a crab, ordering a crab dish is a must! Apart from their famous butter crab, we ordered sour and spicy crab. The crab came flooded with the the sour and spicy gravy. The gravy was battered with eggs and it was sinfully delicious. It was not thick but it was flavourful, spicy at the same time sourish. The crab was fresh and quite meaty, the flesh was sweet. This dish best goes with mantao.
