It was pretty weird to me that a Korean restaurant serves watermelon juice. Normally, the one that I've been to only serves Soju, brown riice tea/green tea and Korean soda. Having juices was something new. The watermelon juice here wasn't exactly that bad nor was it good. It has enough flavour but it still felt a little diluted. Perhaps more watermelon would increase its density.

I believe its a tradition for Koreans to serve their appetizers along with their meals. However, weirdly enough, I had to pay Rm2 for this plate of additional appetizers. The plate consists of fried peanuts and anchovies, braised mushrooms and cold wintermelon salad thing. All 3 weren't as good as I'd expect it to be. The anchovies and peanuts had almost no flavour but salt. The mushroom tasted pretty stale whilst the wintermelon was just cold.

I love Korean food, I really do. I really love to eat kimchi jjigae and korean bbq. However, bibimbap isn't one of my top choices. The mixture of so many different types of vegetables and the lack of sauce caused it to be a little too dry for me. The varieties were really nice and all, but without a sauce or something to moisten up the food, it would be too bland and dry for me. I personally do not enjoy it but I know many who do.

I love korean food and the one thing that I must order when I'm in one is their Kimchi Jiigae. I kinda use the Kimchi Jiigae as a stand point on whether or not the restaurant is up to a certain quality. Its like saying whether or not the mamak serves good roti kosong or teh ice. First impression. Anyway, this Kimchi Jiigae wasn't exactly really good. It was just a mere average stew. It wasn't too spicy nor salty but it was lacking in flavour. I order Korean ramen only when I am really craving for it when I visit a Korean restaurant, because of the fact that we can buy some and cook it ourself at home. The plus point of having this outside is they tend to put in the right amount of water with the spices pack, making the soup taste perfectly spicy and not diluted. Kimchi Haru did it right, the soup was really good and the noodles were nicely cooked till al-dente. The tuna certainly added extra fishy freshness and flavour into the ramen

Sundubu means tofu, this is one of my favourite stews to order after kimchi jigae. The version here came with seafood, soft tofu and egg. The ingredients tasted alright, the soup base was decent as well but could be better to be on par with the one at Da Sa Rang, my favourite Korean restaurant in my books The rice served with this is local rice, not those sticky type Korean rice. The rice served with this is local rice, not those sticky type Korean rice. I find that it lacked authenticity, but it could be just a matter of preference. Some people might dislike sticky rice. IMHO Korean stews goes very well with sticky rice as it soaks up all the broth easily.

Some side dishes served on that day. Kimchi was good, the apple salad was simple yet refreshing. The kimchi broth lacked the spicy kick that it should have. A little let down as I expected a korean restaurant to serve good kimchi jigae to its customers. The rice that served with this is local rice, not those sticky Korean rice. I find that it lacked the authenticity. The portion of the ingredients inside was average.

Mix it all together while it's hot...together with the 'go chu jang' provided... yumm~
The most enjoyable part is when you get to taste the charred and crispy rice that remains at the bottom of the bowl at the end of enjoying your bibimbap...

It's serve on a steel bowl, so your noodles will be hot all the time! Imagine you have this on a rainy day....

First time trying different cuisine's pancake. It was slightly chewy, and greasy, I think they should increase their frying temperature because it wasn't crispy at all too!It was bland as well, with some spring onion in between the batter...Don't really like it, really dissapointed, is this how a pancake suppose to taste like anyway?I didn't finish it though, I had only one pieces and that's for all. ;)

The salad was drizzle with too much of thousand island, ;(
I prefer to eat it plainly or some other dressing because thousand island isn't a good choice for those who are on a diet..;(
