黑胡椒烧魚,扑鼻的就是黑胡椒刺鼻的香味,我就觉得有点破坏了魚原有的鮮味,有点可惜,因为新鲜的鱼用酱重口味,让鱼失去了鱼的鲜甜,只剩下黑胡椒的味道不断肆虐你的舌頭。但还算是另一番风味。

盐焗烧魚,为了就是吃到鱼的鲜味,所以选择了盐焗的方法。这里魚是使用山水饲养的,而且还是先叫先杀的,所以鱼的肉質新鮮甜美,完全没有泥味,再配合特制的盐来烧烤,所以它絕對可以完美的在你的味蕾展現了它的鮮味.

We wanted something spicy besides from the light tasting salt baked tilapia fish, hence the choice of tom yam flavour. This is one of their most popular flavours to cook the fish as well.Came with some tom yam gravy and fresh lady fingers. The tom yam sauce was decent, equipped with balanced salty, sour and not too spicy.

Last year, my uni friends and I went for hiking at Broga Hill. I heard good comments about the grilled tilapia fish around that area, which had me really looking forward to try it out since I'm going there. The fish has quite a meaty body. The boss told us that the shan shui fish (mountain water fish) taste different from the usual tilapia that we get from tai chow places. I can totally understand that as the water from mountain naturally makes everything taste better, just like those Ipoh kuey teow.

Indeed, it taste so wonderfully flaky and fresh. One bite and I was sold, as I can bite into the thick flesh, with the salty juices from the steaming process inside the aluminium foil. The usual tilapia that we get from tai chow stalls here is rather thin and not as fleshy as this. The salty juices is tad salty by just eating like that. Get some steamed rice with it and you are good to go
