Instead of chicken and beef kebab, i tried the jumbo sausage kebab this time.It cost Rm 5.5 each and i add an extra cheese which cost only 50 cents. The sausages is really in jumbo size, it is cut into half and cooked before wrap with kebab skin.It is than wrap with tomatoes and vegetables , cooked on a hot plate with butter. The skin taste crispy and the sausage is juicy, which makes the kebab taste delicious. continue reading

As I was busy with work the other day, I could not go out for lunch and therefore my colleague was nice enough to take away a beef kebab for me. The beef kebab was wrapped in an innovative packaging, which has a pull out strip. Upon opening the top cover, I pulled the strip, and voila! The kebab was raised and I could eat it!The beef kebab was very aromatic, as the moment I opened it in the office, the entire office was filled with its aroma. The beef was particularly very strong aroma and strong in taste as well. However, I find that its crust was a little overcooked, as it has signs of burnt. The kebab was quite juicy, with ample mayonnaise and chilli sauce. For RM5.90, it is a simple lunch, which at least can last me till tea time. continue reading

After a light lunch at Summit USJ recently, I did not feel full enough, so I thought of having a snack to fill me up.As I was lingering at the LG floor of Summit USJ, I came across a stall called Kebab Turki Baba Rafi.I ordered the beef shawarma, which I admit was an influence from The Avengers. The shawarma was made right in front of me, so I cannot complain that it was pre-made. However, upon the first bite it was not that good. The beef was actually not carved right out of the block of meat at the stove when I ordered, but it was carved earlier already. This makes the beef slices cold, and slightly tough too. Apart from the beef, it also has some vegetables and onions in the wrap. The shawarma was only OK, but I've tasted better. continue reading
