K3K Benta Kaya (Closed)

K3K Benta Kaya is a quiet place. From outside view this shop looks small, but inside (downstairs) can accommodate approximately 30 people. I would like to recommend their food which call Penghulu Fried Chicken which cost around RM9.00. I love the chicken, soft and crispy. The small bowl of curry not spicy, Chicken dip with the curry and eat with rice... nice!

It is modern style kopitiam. Since the shop is famous of its kaya, we have try the bread with kaya. We have tried a bun called Soft bun K3K special. The bun is topped with chocolate. It is with crispy toppings and inner side is soft. The kaya inside is quite nice. Other than that, we also try curry chicken rice. The tastes is just normal only but the serving size is quite big.

Basically, K3K is an abbreviation of Kwai Sam Kee, literally translated as K3K Kopitiam. "Sam" means three in Cantonese, by the way. The idea of setting up K3K Benta Kaya came from Ho Kwai Sam, a man who used to tap rubber and operate a grocery to earn a living. It was inspired by the strenuous efforts of the rubber tappers in getting a good cuppa and bread to go with before work. After 50 years of history at Benta, Kuala Lipis, Pahang, K3K Benta Kaya opened its first branch in Damansara Perdana

这个亚参叻沙的汤汁很香融, 可以品尝到里面花了的时间还不少.而配料方面也是很普通不过这个可好吃过外面的而且这个让我回想槟城的味道.酸辣的汤汁真让人吃了还想再吃.

和朋友来到这里的k3k 吃马来西亚的道地食物椰浆饭,希望这个不会给人太大的失望.这个吃起来的味道不错, 椰浆的味道不会太重而影响到整体.而这个的酱料吃起来也很有味道.

椰浆饭是非常普遍的本地美食，无论你在哪个角落都可以找到它。在文达桂三记茶室这里你也不例外可以吃到呢。炸得香脆可口的炸鸡，他们的三巴酱十分精彩（辣），你会忍不住的叫老板来添加。他们的椰浆饭也不会太腻，所以不会觉得吃了会很不健康。

亞參叻沙是檳城的美食之一，我好懷念那里的亚参叻沙呢。这碗亚参叻沙的灵魂就在于它的汤，甘望魚，香茅，亞參膏、亞參片一大堆材料等等。将煮好的濃湯，放入粉，然后加上薄荷叶，大葱头，辣椒，一碗酸辣的亚参叻沙就能令你开胃，忍不住吃下两碗呢。

咖喱角是我们马来西亚的传统小吃，我给他们家的独特巨大的咖喱角给吓呆了。这个是我吃过最大的呢，简直可以当我的正餐了。这个是脆皮咖喱角，里面的马铃苏煮得好软噢，鸡肉丁蛮鲜嫩，分量真的很足够一个人，唯一美中不足就是咖喱味不够辣。

比起old town,我觉得我更愿意把钱花在这里。因为这里的nasi lemak都有一只童子鸡。虽然不会说很大，但是会觉得物有所值。另外sambal方面也不错，味道很足够而且也给得蛮多。配饭实在一流。

这大概是我看过最可爱的土司了。因为它总共有三层那就是这里自制的加央，花生酱还有蓝莓果酱。如果这只是花生酱和加央想必我会爱上这酥脆可口的土司。但是里面却又蓝莓果酱。所以不喜欢吃果酱的朋友一定要记得提醒服务员只要加央和花生酱。

The kaya here taste is like homemade. Sweet and thick is the words to describe it. Get their crullers and dip with their kaya. Crullers were fried till golden colour and then they are all so crispy. Not to forget their gigantic curry puff here. Share it with your friends or your stomach will be bloated. Inside of the curry puff also has lots of chicken, eggs and potatoes.

This is the second visit to K3k benta Kaya. At first , i thought their name is funny and unattractive. But somehow their food is actually not bad at all.Tried out their Asam Laksa. Usually Asam Laksa in these kind of cafe doesnt turn out well. Usually they missed some taste you can find in those Asam Laksa Stall.But this one turns out good liek you can see in the picture. The ingredients is like the original asam laksa and the soup is well flavoured.

This K3K restaurant are served with all the Malaysian food here “Halal”. Today feel like no mood at all just simply order a Curry Laksa have a try, but the curry taste are not bad and some more served with 3 piece of chicken, Fu chuk, Tau ge, and some long beans as well. But the soup are a bit oily, next time I have to try another dishes here again.

This Restaurant are located at Kuchai Lama, Opposite of D'Rich restaurant. Today i just simply choose the " Penghulu Fried Chicken with rice" and Ice lemon tea only, the chicken rice are very nice and the fried chicken are very crispy also, but the ice lemon tea are so so only. I think i will come back again to try others food here !!

Had late dinner at K3K Benta Kaya with my brother. He was more hungry so he ordered the fried nyonya style chicken rice set. The chicken is fried till golden colour, a bit overcooked and hard, but still not bad, the flavour is there. The vegetable is crunchy and nice, but my bro dont like vege so i had them all. The curry gravy is really bad, very lemak and no curry spices flavour.
