Triple color tea is a local speciality drink that i love so much. The three color layered tea from Jojo Little Kitchen was a disappoinment. After giving the tea a good stir, i try it and instantly felt that the tea lacked flavors. Perhaps the tea need more gula melaka, i feel that the three layered tea was not sweet enough and the gula melaka was not aromatic. The lacked of flavors make the drink taste diluted.

After a hot and spicy meal from JoJo, i ordered the cooling tau fu fa with longan. The dessert was served chilled, which was really a great help in reducing the rising temperature. I love the silky smooth tau fu fa, although it was chilled, the texture remained smooth. The longan in the tau fu fa was sweet and juicy. Some sugar surup was added to the tau fu fa for more taste.

I have tasted the curry soup pan mee before and was very pleased with the taste and the quality. This time, i tried the dry curry pan mee. The dry curry pan mee was not bad either. The dry curry was thick and flavorful, it was also spicy and rich. I love the curry chicken which has absorbed all the nice flavors of the spices. The dry curry mixed well with the noodle. The noodle can be ordered in thick or thin.

Another version of the pan mee is the Loh pan mee. The loh pan mee is cooked in a thick starchy broth. The broth is also very flavorful, there were lots of beaten egg in the broth. The loh pan mee will taste even better when black vinegar is added. I love the pan mee noodle in the Loh soup, the pan mee was silky smooth and has nice texture which is slightly firm.

I think the herbal chicken pan mee in JoJo Little Kitchen is quite nice. The flavorful herbal soup is very tasty. The herbal soup was also full of chinese wine, which adds even more flavors to the soup. The soup can also be ordered in spicy or non spicy version. For the spicy version, cut chilli padi will be added in. The chicken is very flavorful and the pan mee noodle is a lot.

This is a side dish that i like a lot. The "Zha Yuk" or deep fried pork slices are incredible delicious. The pork slices are very succulent and juicy. When you eat it, the sweetness and juiciness of the pork will made you keep eating one after another. The fried pork slices are sliced thinly and has crispy skins. The pork slices are well marinated and i usually deep with some chilli sauce.

Besides selling the main dishes, you can also order some side dishes as snacks. This one here is the fish cake. I'm not a big fan of eating fish cake but since my partner like it, well, i just eat it anyway. The fish cake is pan fried, therefore it wasn't too oily. I like that it wasn't pan fried until burnt. The skin of the fish cake was still clean and no burnt marks. The fish cake was sweet, fresh and juicy. No unpleasant taste points to fresh fish paste.

At first, i was hesitated to try curry laksa in a pan mee specialty restaurant. I have the perception that a pan mee specialty restaurant will only be good at pan mee, and not others. I was proven very wrong. In fact, the curry laksa from JoJo impressed me. The laksa broth is very delicious and spicy. Lots of cockles, french beans, tau fu pok, chicken slices in the noodle. I'm not too sure if many people knows this but within the area of Bandar Puchong Jaya itself there's more than half a dozen eateries like this one specializing in Pan Mee.. and what's more all are located just 1-2 streets away from each other.. within walking distance! The most popular dish in Jojo Pan Mee is the Dry Chili Pan Mee. I’m a diehard fan of the dry chili pan mee here because of the spiciness of the chili. One of the best soups/broths to go along with the plain pan mee noodles has got to be curry, usually complements nicely with flour made noodles. The curry pan mee here comes with taupok (dried beancurd), long green beans, cockles, chicken and beansprouts.The thick (broad) noodles were more chewy compared to other pan mee shops. The curry was quite thick, filled with aromatic spices and spicy kick. Other ingredients tasted pretty decent, overall it was an average meal.

I chose thick (broad) noodles which I find although smooth, but the thickness is not ideal hence results in a chewier and harder noodles. The ingredients tasted decent while I thought the soup was quite MSG laden, aside from being flavourful. First sip was okay but you can feel the MSG coming on the subsequent sips.

For me, the chilli flakes that came in it is already spicy enough for me. Tiny dried prawns can be found inside too, contributing the good aroma to the whole dish. I opted for thin noodles, they were prefectly cooked till al-dente and taste softer compared to previous visits few months ago, in a good way. Mix everything together, the runny egg yolk is enough to entice your appetite and tastebuds.
