I have tried Japanese Matcha (how can I resist it???), wild berries as well as premium hazelnut chocolate and liked all of them. Natural ingredients are used, without any artificial flavourings. Matcha was my favourite so of course it was good, though lacked bitter taste but some people may not like it. Wild berries was not too sour with a hint of yoghurt taste and who does not love hazelnut chocolate? I regretted not having more than 3 of the flavours that night XD I promise I will leave more stomach space for more Squeezit =P

They are invading AEON Big supermarkets sometime this week, selling at price of RM5.90 or RM6.90. Locations for its availability will be Sunway Medical Centre, Jaya One, Mid Valley AEON Big as far as I remember.

Kimchi fried rice, yaki udon, abalone fried rice, mussels in tomato sauce

Kimchi fried rice was a let down- hardly any kimchi flavours infused to the rice.

Udon lacked springy texture as it turned soft and mushy, probably have been left in the buffet dish for quite some time already.

Tteokbokki (rice cakes)- texture was too soft and mushy, probably left in the warmer for too long.Generally the dishes were decent or literally ‘as it is’ except separately mentioned, hardly any surprises or outstanding flavours.

Kimchi soup boasted a balanced spicy and sour flavours, suitable for people who cannot take overly spicy food. The kimchi pieces were cooked till soft, very enjoyable along with tofu cubes. Although not the best I have had (I prefer more spicy versions), but this can easily satisfy my cravings.

Soondubu jigae was decent too, infused with seafood goodness easily detected from first sip of soup. The smooth and soft tofu pieces along with non-conventional addition of needle mushrooms goes well with steamed rice provided.

At the grilled meat station, you can choose from marinated chicken, beef, squids and others and handover to the chef to prepare freshly cooked meats for you. The squids were executed until the right doneness and presented a smokey sweet flavour.

It always good to start a meal by having some healthy tea. Here in Jang Gun, they serve the popular Korean drink namely barley tea. The slightly dark brown beverage imparted a fragrant aroma from barley that provides a pleasant taste. You can choose other beverages from the drinks section such as orange juice, coffee, hot chocolate and others.

A Korean meal wouldn’t be complete without banchan, a ‘routine’ to start with and serves as a great appetizer to stimulate our appetite. A variety of the side dishes are served here, ranging from basic kimchi, julienned potato, par-boiled spinach, clams, mini pajeon, egg rolls, potato salad and many more. Kimchi was decent with adequate spicy and sour kick, but not the best I’ve had. Other banchans are pretty good too, but remember to save extra stomach space for more upcoming food!

Ta-da! Here's the whole list of flavours which you can order. Actually, it was quite fancy to eat ice cream this way and it was probably a healthier alternative since it is made out of real fruits and not artificial flavours.

I recommend you guys to try it soon either at Mid Valley or Times Square, if i remembered it right

Egg Rolls! My favourite sushi item and this had fluffy eggs on top. The eggs had a little sweetness in it which went well with the rice at the bottom. Even the rice was just nice, not too starchy.

Here's the marinated chicken, fresh beef ribs and marinated beef ribs which I thought was the best three out of those that were on display. I picked three of these and got the chef to do the cooking. To be honest, this was a slight disappointment because it was a tad bit too sweet for me. The meat was however tender and juicy.

Now, I even tried out their 'banchan' (side dishes) and kimchi as well. What is a Korean restaurant without their kimchi. The kimchi however turned out to be lacking in flavour. It was a little too salty and not sour at all. The 'banchan' which are shown in the above pictures were pretty similar as those I've tried in Korea. Pretty authentic and flavorful, I would say.

They served each of us a Buddha Jump Over The Wall, and a few plates of oyster. I'm not sure whether it's limited food. The soup is not bad with mild herbal taste. I am not a oyster lover because of the fishlike smell, but the cooking method with ginger able to remove the smell, so it's acceptable by me.

The tempura is quite poor because the batter is too thick. This is same for the salmon balls. The grilled salmon and unagi is not in hot condition maybe it was cooked and left for very long. Unagi is my favorite all the time but not this time. The sanma is still ok.

We can pick the fresh meats from the BBQ corner for the chef and cook for us on the spot, range from lamb, beef, chicken, duck and squid. The smoked duck is the best food that I ate here, followed by the lamb. The beef is overcooked and the tenderness is affected, maybe he grills all the meats at the same time.

There are over 10 choices of Chinese and local food. I took some seafood, like Nyonya Prawns, escargots, mussels, crabs and abalone slice. The prawns is quite fresh, and the taste is quite appetizing. The freshness of mussels, escargots and crabs are just normal because the meat of the crabs aren't firm. The cheese scallops are quite nice to eat in hot condition and I ate a lot as I'm a cheese lover. I also get a bowl of Shark Fin Soup. The taste is ok, but not as good as those in Chinese restaurants.

The sushi and sashimi of this restaurant are quite poor. The rice of the sushi is very poor. I can't describe with words how it taste. The sashimi isn't very fresh too as freshness of sashimi is the most important factor for a sashimi to be nice.
