Generous cheese and seafood! Consist of small fish roe all over the rice, squids, prawn and cheese. The rice is so flavourful! Delicious~~~
I hope they can put a little bit more of salt because kinda lack of saltiness><

My sister had a Soba Teri Giza set. We didn’t expect such a big portion with reasonable price. The set consist of Japanese Soba, Chicken Teriyaki Rice, Chawanmushi, Miso soup, Appetizer and Fruit. This is my first time try Japanese Soba and it was so nice~
How to eat? Pick up some soba and dip into the sauce awhile and *Slurp, Slurp*. The sauce is salty so don’t try to drink it ^^ Their Teriyaki Chicken was soft and flavourful.
I like their
sauce that rub on the chicken. Chawanmushi was soft and smooth. One word, Yummy!
We couldn’t finish it because we didn’t notice that the Chicken Teriyaki came with Rice>< (waste ady la)

Overall, their foods is nice. And it is different from other Japanese restaurant. They also provide different variety of sushi.
One more things is they make their rice using hand instead of machine. Where you can taste the original Japanese sushi. Besides, the price is reasonable and worth to try.

Ambiance: 7/10
Price: 7/10
Food: 7.5/10
Verdict: Unique menus that you hardly find anywhere else.

The rice were cooked in good condition where it will not too sticky when eating. The fruits and salad were so fresh as well as the tempura which coated in crispy batter and grilled mackerel that still retain its natural own colour and juiciness. Overall, the food there was AWESOME!

One of the dish that i kind of liked is the Salmon Yukke Roll, the Salmon is quite fresh and its texture is smooth till i can literally feel that the Salmon can just flow inside my mouth. While the setback is the spicy Japanese sauce, it kind of like kill off the original taste of the fresh Salmon, probably i just like to taste Salmon in its original form.

In addition, i kind of the presentation of the dish, utilizing the transparent plate, it gives me the feel of modernize Japanese cuisine.

Another dish i like to share is the , it is prepared with the BBQ eel with cheese on top of it and top it with teriyaki sauce. One notable thing with this restaurant is the ingredient is fresh, and in addition to that the food preparation method is very special and daring to try. Having Cheese with Eel does not taste great and i personally like to have teriyaki sauce in stronger flavor.

Enjoy this salt-grilled salmon belly - Shioyaki at the Ichiban Boshi, Pavilion, Kuala Lumpur. The salmon belly was salt-grilled perfectly and nicely cut into six small pieces equally. The salmon belly was very fresh, tasty and not too oily. The salmon skin layer was still crispy. Yummy!Definitely will return to try their sushi and sashimi at a reasonable price. Nice environment but a bit crowded and the chefs are very busy all the times.

For the drinks, go for green tea as usual, the best and healthy drink.

The price is moderate compared to Sushi Zanmai and cheaper than Sushi King. The bill comes out aroud RM70 for two person

Salmon is a synonym fare whenever dining at Japanese restaurant. To kick off lunch on a healthier note, Salmon Head Pirikara Udon is great to go. The udon noodles is cooked in the claypot together with salmon head, assorted vegetables and also egg in spicy broth. The fish has been slightly fried thus doesn’t taste overly fishy. The egg yolk that is added has made the dish much smoother and luscious with an eggy fragrance. You could eat it with some pickled ginger should you prefer some sourish

The first to arrive is the Japanese Curry Noodles with Chicken. No wonder it’s a small portion as we only find out upon referring the menu again; it’s Half Curry Udon
The udon served here is soft and not too thick. The plain noodle is best served with savoury curry gravy that gathers assorted greens like cucumber, carrots and some potatoes. It isn’t spicy as our local spices, and very fragrant indeed. Therefore, those who can’t take hot stuff could give this a try.

From their sushi conveyer belt, you get to select various sushi. I forgot the name for this but it's a sushi with omelette, wrapped in bean curd skin and top with the salmon roe. I like to eat this partly due to the sweet bean curd skin. The bean curd skin tasted really sweet and juicy. The omelette was lightly mix with mayonnaise to give the moist texture. The sushi rice was also form and seasoned well with vinegar and sugar. The salmon roe gave the popping sound in your mouth when bitten.
