Signature Dishes
We have been to this Hu Xu Shen (胡须伸小食店) a few times. Mainly for the signature dish, salt grilled fish. It has 3 sizes small, medium and large to choose. The shop is located in a residential area and it is operating in one of the houses. Other than the signature dish, they are also offer a wide range of other local Chinese dishes. This is a non Halal food.Please note that the business hours will be 5.30pm～12.30pm；5.30pm～1.30am (Saturday)；Off on Mondays.This shop is of limited tables and it is advisable to arrive before 7:30pm.I have started fallen in love with the dish after my second visit. The sweet taste of the fish is delicious and the more it is grilled fish. I personally find that in order to enjoy the sweet taste of the fish, the best size is small and medium. I have tried the large size fish, found the sweet taste was less and the meat was not as soft and smooth.
