Situated in the hustle and bustle area of town city, parking is indeed a nightmare around this area. Situated in the hustle and bustle area of town city, parking is indeed a nightmare around this area. This restaurant is strategically located around Jalan Tun HS Lee, on the other corner where the other end is the famous LOKL coffee joint. It is highly advisable to take the public transportation here whereby the Masjid Jamek LRT station is just a stone throw away. If you were to come around lunch hours, it will be sardine packed and crowded. It is best to either reach early at 12 noon or slightly later, probably after 1.30 PM or so.

For ala carte orders (i.e. individual portion of rice which comes with one dish / stir fry noodles etc.), you will be seated at the lower floor. For those with a big group of diners, you can opt for dishes and rice where you then be asked to sit at the second floor of the shop. Fully air conditioned and more spacious. I will definitely prefer the higher floor anytime due to our hot weather in Malaysia.

There were 6 of us and we had the stir fry vege “Qing Long Choy” with garlic, volcano looking beancurd, pork ribs and salted chicken. For the beancurd, it is being shaped like a volcano with a huge “lava” on top, which is actually a huge salted eggyolk. The gravy was really good, it comes with some crab meats which faintly resembles a shark fin soup. Perfect to pair with plain white rice. Then comes the all-time favourite salted chicken. Crispy on the outside yet the meat is still juicy and tender. As for the pork ribs, it wasn’t bad either, and the portion was so huge that we can barely finish it all.

About RM 26 per pax for the scrumptious and wholesome meal. Worth every penny.
