My friend kept mentioning how tasty Hometown is in Puchong. So I finally relented and we went there today since I finished work very late at about 10 pm and that was one of the cafes that was still open. And I guess there was wifi too. We ordered the Lam Mee Sua which actually was not bad except the noodles were not boiled properly so it came in balls. Other than that, the sauce was thick enough. The price was exorbitant at RM 12, more expensive that Old Town. The Toasted Bread with Kaya was not

Teh C. During our breakfast session in Hometown Hainan Coffee, since I did not feel like having heavy teh texture, I ordered the teh C that has evaporated milk instead. The service was not quite attentive that day. The seats were too soft as it was quite old. The teh C was a normal one and does not have strong tea taste. It was quite bland for my liking. The sugar level was just nice though.

Curry Mee. Hometown Hainan Coffee's curry mee consisted of chicken slice, fu pei, cockles, tau fu pok and sambal. I mixed the sambal into the curry broth and it became quite spicy and slightly salty too. The broth was quite thin but the curry taste was there. The chicken slices were soft and I like the fu pei in this curry mee. It was a normal bowl of curry mee and nothing special.

他们这里的九层塔炒饭的味道还不错，饭被炒得非常得香，锅气还算有，可以吃到浓浓的九层塔的味道，是蛮特别的。而且他们的配料也不少，有青豆，萝卜粒，新鲜虾子，包菜等等。

Hainan Teh O. Hometown Hainan Coffee has been in Taman SEA for quite a long time, and I only visited only a few times. Maybe the food is not delicious or attractive enough for me to return frequently. The sofa seating was quite run down, and it sank very low when I sat on it. The Hainan Teh O was a normal tea for me only. It was not extremely fragrant. It has the average tea taste.

Hainan Kopi C Ice. We were looking for new kopitiam to have our breakfast, and ended up we were at this Hometown Hainan Coffee. We don't patron this kopitiam often as the food are just so-so. The space was spacious but the staffs were not so attentive. The kopi C ice was not too bad. The evaporated milk slightly sweetened up the bitterness of the coffee. Nothing to shout about.

Nasi Lemak Biasa. The nasi lemak biasa came with cucumber slices, keropok, sambal, anchovies, nuts and a sunny side up. When I eat nasi lemak, the first thing first I would taste just the sambal. I did this as well and the sambal turn out not up to my expectation, it was spicy but it just does not have the omph factor. The keropok was crispy and the anchovies were salty.

Grilled Chicken. The grilled chicken came along with fries, cucumber slices, tomato slices and coleslaw. The grilled chicken was a big piece and topped with mushroom sauce. The mushroom sauce consisted a few big pieces of button mushrooms. The chicken was tender and the mushroom sauce was not too salty. The coleslaw was not not too sweet. The fries were oily.

Hainan Kaya Butter Toast Bread. Apart from ordering the omega half boiled eggs, I also ordered the hainan kaya butter toast bread. The bread was golden brown, it was crispy but not extremely crispy. The toasts were thicker in structure. The kaya and butter that they applied on the toast were quite little as the toast was not even fully covered with kaya butter.

Omega Half Boiled Eggs. That morning, I does not feel like having heavy breakfast, so I ordered the omega half boiled egg. The portion consisted of 2 eggs. The eggs took quite awhile to be served and I was afraid that that over-boiled the eggs. When it was served, the eggs were just nicely done. The egg yolk was watery and the egg white was just nice. I put some pepper and soy sauce.

Curry Laksa. I like the fact that Hometown curry laksa uses minced chicken instead of giving me pieces of chicken as I hate eating chicken with bones especially in curry broth. There was a lot of tao fu pok and big portion of minced chicken too. It somewhat taste a bit weird since minced chicken was used. It was slightly tough. The curry broth was oily and salty. Normal dish.

Chicken Noodle Soup. This was the Chinese version of "Kai Si Hor Fun". It came with shredded chicken slices, fish paste slices, bean sprouts and spring onions. Once the noodle was served, it exerted a strong smell, maybe chicken stock smell, that I find it unappetizing. The soup was salty and diluted. The chicken slices were rough. I don't enjoy this dish at all.

除了传统的海南鸡饭，咖啡或是面包之类的食物，这里也是有提供比较西式的食物供选择，我叫了这个鸡肉汉堡，里面的鸡肉扒炸到很香，外皮很脆呢。里面还有肉汁不会说干干的。好吃。

来到海南餐馆，当然少不了就是这里独有的海南鸡饭。那个鸡饭煮到真的很像，不想其他地方有些都是特别家了调味料的，这个完全就是天然的香气。鸡肉不用说，嫩滑是一定的了，而且皮非常脆，

这个真的很好吃，这里果然我早餐地点的首选。还记得以前外婆总是喜欢煎鸡蛋和面包给我吃。到现在我依然对那种味道念念不忘。这里的完全就是古早的味道。而且上面加上了肉丝，完全就是另一种风味。
