After running an errand and meeting a client, I decided to have my lunch at Bangsar before going back to the office. Plus I was being a little cheeky by taking my time before having to actually return to 'work'. Since I was already there, I dropped by a favourite Ramen store to have a bite to eat and to enjoy their lunch set. Since I was already there, I dropped by a favourite Ramen store to have a bite to eat and to enjoy their lunch set. Priced at Rm33, which I think is very affordable for Ippudo price standards, the meal comes with a bowl of ramen of your choice and a side of your choosing. There is a crab salad, sake mentai rice and chicken pao. Then the drinks is priced at half price from the menu.

This time I asked for the ramen to be cooked al dente but it was softer than what I asked for. When I told the waitress that served me, she told me that this was how it is supposed to be. But I clearly remember it having more of a bite so I don't feel too jelak from the mushyness. So I am wrong?
Although I've had amazing service at the Pavilion branch and also this one, I was a little surprised by how this one brushed me off as if I didn't know any better. Is it because of how I look or what? I was rather insulted and slightly put off my meal, though I slurped it all down so I make my money's worth.
Plus the ramen is still delicious even if I wish the noodles had a bit more bite to it. I'd still go back and hope for a better server the next time around.
Other Info. :
Lunch set is only available from 11am-3pm. Not too sure if it applies on weekend or not, but most probably no.
