Since the place has operating since 1930s, they still maintain the original taste of their cendol apart of adding additional types of cendol. This is the place to come for on a hot sunny day in Seremban town for a cold yummy desert. It is located in a green color pre-war house building, be prepared to queue with the locals, Malays, Indians and Chinese everyone seems to like the cold Chendol! I personally preferred the Original flavor Cendol which is simple and yet still able to satisfied my taste. continue reading

So we decided to stop by Seremban on the way back up to KL from Malacca for cendol (among other things), and we were not disappointed at all. The cendol noodles were slightly salty, which I think is the defining characteristic. Ice was finely shaven (by machine), and the red beans were soft and mushy. Coconut milk was refreshing. Self-service, but quite fast. RM1.70 each. Really a steal! continue reading

This place is difficult to miss if you are driving along Jalan Yam Tuan. The shop is green and is located right after the traffic light at Dominoes pizza.Frequented by many locals because it serves the best local dessert that everyone loves! It stands out from all of the other cendol stalls because they use chilled bowls and they are generous with the red beans. It stays true to its name, so if you are craving for the old school cendol, haji shariff will not disappoint you! It is as simple as it gets, shredded ice served with coconut milk, cendol and red beans- but it's the best. RM 1.70 for a bowl of cendol ice with kacang merah. They also sell indian rojak (Mee Rojak), and it is on a self service basis so you get to choose whichever items you like and at the amount you wish. continue reading
