If you were on diet, you may try this as your dinner. It is wrapped with mixed vegetables like carrot, black fungus, sesame and many kind more vegetable which i couldn't name it...2 rolls of it per serving. You may dipped it with special sauce prepared, to enhance the tasty-ness. i prefer it without chili because the mixed vegetables itself is already mixture with oil and some tasty sauce continue reading

Greenlicious! continue reading

I have been looking forward to visit Greenlicious for a long time as there are a lot of good reviews from friends and bloggers. Thanks to my vegetarian colleague brought me there to have a dinner after finish working.I like the atmosphere of Greenlicious. It’s a nice place to have a gathering with friends or a simple candle-light dinner with your beloved. The staffs were helpful in providing us details about their dishes, as there are non-vegetarian dishes served, which my friend could not take.We ordered their signature dish – Fruit Salad as our appetizer. I ordered Indonesian Fried Rice while my friend ordered Curry Laksa. The Fruit Salad consisted of few pieces of bite-size dragon fruits, papaya, mangoes, bananas; topped with dried cranberries and pea shoot sprout; and drizzled with yogurt dressings with chia seeds. The dressing was refreshing and we wished to have more!My Indonesian Fried Rice consisted of Fried Rice with petai in shrimp paste, fried egg, fried organic chicken, salad and tapioca chips. The fried rice was oily and not fluffy (a bit mushy), fried egg was overcooked. Overall, I did not enjoy my dish at all.As my friend unable to tolerate well with spicy food, she felt that the Curry Laksa was spicy to her and the consistency of the soup is too thick which decreased her appetite.Though I did not enjoy my main dish, I will visit again to try their Lei Cha – another signature dish. continue reading

This is the one and only place where I truly, thoroughly and tremendously enjoy the lei cha (also spelled "lui char"). Perhaps the best thing is that they don't use any sawi. Instead, they use sweet leaves (the same thing found in pan mee). Also, plenty of peanuts and other good stuff like long beans and carrots makes me happy and healthy. The rice is tasted almost peppery and herby - I like it. It's coarse like brown rice but it's green. The soup is very aromatic and thick; I taste a hint of basil but it could be something else.I would scoop in half the soup first, and slowly mix it in and enjoy the aroma with the combination of crunch, soft, coarse, and fibrous textures. If you allow the taste to come through, some sweetness from the vegetables rises up. I would scoop in more soup gradually, but leave some to enjoy at the end of the meal.Absolutely gorgeous. continue reading
