这里给人的感觉并不是非常传统的韩国料理店而是很现代的西式感觉。不过该有的韩式料理还是不会少先来的绝对是小菜,至于有几盘当然是看店家咯我们订了厢房,结果人还没到期就开始饿了。。。这里的小菜共上6样,而且是一桌6样。幸好这里小菜可以refilll 那就没问题啦开始来的时候,不只是有意还是无意6样小菜里竟然没有泡菜!!!!不行不行韩式料理绝对要有泡菜!于是我们立即向店员反映我们要泡菜之后他们才送来的有牛肉泡菜汤 Beef Kimchi Jjigae , 海鲜拉面 Seafood Ramyeon 和 도시락 Do-si-rak (中文是摇摇便当)。这是我的晚餐, 해산물라면。辣辣的汤加上弹牙的拉面,里面的海鲜还蛮新鲜的。偶尔吃海鲜最怕就是遇到不新鲜没弹性的了。不过就算是韩国料理,但这里还是马来西亚,基本上这里所谓的拉面,基本都是快熟面,只是韩国制造韩国入口罢了。味道喝起来,还是加了海鲜的快熟面汤。这是Signature Dish - Beer Chicken 。服务员很好地帮我们把鸡肉切好,不需要我们自己把鸡切的七八烂,干干净净又安全。鸡肉很嫩,因为是烤的所以会有稍微的干但我觉得还好。鸡皮烤的

这是我的晚餐, 해산물라면。
辣辣的汤加上弹牙的拉面,里面的海鲜还蛮新鲜的。
偶尔吃海鲜最怕就是遇到不新鲜没弹性的了。
不过就算是韩国料理,但这里还是马来西亚,
基本上这里所谓的拉面,基本都是快熟面,只是韩国制造韩国入口罢了。

这是Signature Dish - Beer Chicken 。
服务员很好地帮我们把鸡肉切好,不需要我们自己把鸡切的七八烂,干干净净又安全。
鸡肉很嫩,因为是烤的所以会有稍微的干但我觉得还好。
鸡皮烤的稍脆,于是我吃了很多。
鸡胸的话可以沾一沾随鸡送来的酱料,加强味道。

Pak-Ping-Su 刨冰,饭后送上真是一大享受。
爽口清新,可以清清吃了重口味食物的口腔。
甜甜的红豆加上少许绿豆粉,和刨冰一起搅匀来吃真的很赞。

这里唯一的缺点?
应该是服务员听不懂英文,韩文也貌似听不懂,我很好奇他们如何和韩国老板沟通。
不过他们很友善,而且因为gangnam88喜欢和顾客分享,于是来这里的话要有心理准备被拍
菜上好了服务员也会礼貌地问一问可以拍照么?

Normally we will get to see thick egg rolls serves as side dish in Korean restaurant. But this is something that needs more efforts in making it thin enough like a mini egg pancake. It came with three thin slices in a plate. Very thin but you can still feel the texture of pancake. It was fried with chilli flakes and spring onions. It is not salty, slighty egg taste or ordinary omelette.

Like I say, the taste of kimchi links to how well a chef in Korean cuisine can do much. But there is no good or bad about the skill of a chef because everyone has different taste buds and food preference. I do look into the kimchi that is not fermented until too long, meaning not too sour. This is just nice. I can taste the balance of chilli flakes and the slight sourness.

Homemade potatoes as side dish in Gangnam 88, this dish needs a little but more time to prepare. They do stir-fried the potatoes a little with green chilli and in soy sauce broth. Good to eat with a bowl of rice or as appetizer will be good enough. Not salty and if you are afraid of the spiciness, do not worry. It does not bring out the green chilli smell that strong and just nice for everyone.

When we talk about Korean cuisine, I always have the interest on their homemade side dishes. I will be amazed how people can come out with different side dishes which tasted nice and creative in a way. Gangnam 88 managed to impressed me with their egg tofu side dishes. Never see this time of side dishes in any other korean restaurant but this tasted normal but very creative for a side dish. I do always love egg tofu so this is in for me.

I feel home or feel more loved when a restaurant serves good food as well as their design of the restaurant. Gangnam88 has a rather simple yet nice design inside their cafe. They do have tv hanging on the wall showing pictures of their previous customers, smiles and birthday celebration pictures from there make it look more like a happy restaurant for all. KIMCHI JIGAE OHHMYGOD!It tastes good especially in a rainy night.Kimchi jigae soup is a normal dish that people will order in Korean restaurant and served with a bowl of fragrant rice. This kimchi jigae soup in Gangnam88 is cooked with slices of tofu, spring onions, chillis powder and chillis padi and glass noodles.It is spicy enough and will be served with candle fire down its pot to keep it warm. Best to eat warm.

Korean styled steamed egg. Always one of the to-order-list when we visit Korea restaurant. The staffs in Gangnam 88 are kind and friendly. The walls were decorated with Korean popstars like girls generation and big bang. They have tv hanging on top of the wall and flooded with Korean MTV songs and one special pictures/photos slides of all of their past customers. Ok back to the steamed egg, it is steamed with some raddish and taste wise, it is normal, but not too salty. Texture is soft.

Naksam Bulgogi (Fried Squid with chicken meat) is something that I will ordered in Korean restaurant. Normally we will order fried meat (chicken or beef) but this is a mixed fried of squid and meat (you can choose between chicken or beef meat here). It is served with sesame and big bean sprouts on top, not to forget the spring onions that gave a slight green color to the whole orange combination. Taste wise it is really good to eat with rice and the meat are cut into small cubes and squids also

I am a big fan of seaweed and of course, Korean cuisine. This is also another special side dish I have found in Gangnam88. More like a Japanese side dish for me.Seaweed is cleaned and i am not sure how they do the favoring. It is fresh and served with marinated raddish slices and sesame topping. Homemade stir-fried wild vegetables in a Korean Restaurant? This side dish is more like a fusion of Asian food in Korean restaurant. The wild vegetable (paku-paki) is stirred fried with dried prawn and onions. I am surprised that the paku paki vegetable is soft and not like the rough paku-paki that I took in other Thai restaurant. In the sense of taste, it is not too salty, since it is fried with dried prawn, the whole dish has a strong favor of prawn.
