Whenever I visit hotels, this dessert seems to always be on my plate. So I decided to have the Bread And Butter Pudding, just to try out the version here. The bread and butter pudding is served warm, with a separate jug of vanilla cinnamon cream served on the side, so that you can add in however much you want. As usual, I will flood mine with all the sauce given. Sweet and satisfying, the price of RM10.90 a serve is quite worth the amount paid.

The next dessert that came was the Black Forest Chocolate Cup. It was quite interesting as the dark chocolate mousse was encased in a chocolate cup, so after we had our fill of the mousse, we were having fun trying to break the chocolate cup to eat it. Served with some berry sauce at the bottom, it was quite the interesting dessert. Priced at RM13.90 a serve, it was well worth it, even if it was just for the chocolate cup.

By this time, everyone was pretty much full, and we were looking forward to dessert. The first that came was the Warm Chocolate Cake. The chocolate cake was not only warm, it was piping hot. Full of chocolate-y goodness, the cake was accompanied by a scoop of vanilla ice-cream drizzled with some chocolate sauce, Half a strawberry completed the set. Priced at RM10.90, it was quite a decent price to pay.

The Orange Mix Seafood sounded quite interesting, hence we decided to order. The dish came heaped with a piece of salmon fish, some dory fish, mussel, prawns and calamari. There were also some sautéed mushrooms and a few stalks of French beans. The ensemble tasted citrus-y, probably due to the orange sauce. Priced at RM30.90, it was well worth the amount paid as there it was a generous serve of seafood.

The party unanimously agreed to try out the Masala Lamb Shank, as it looked pretty interesting from the menu. The lamb shank came, medium sized. It was braised until very tender, and the meat falls of the bone quite easily. There was also no gamey meat smell. There were chunks of sautéed cucumber, carrots and eggplant with black pepper flakes on it. Priced at RM39.90, I thought it was a bit expensive.

My favourite type of pasta is cooked a la vongole. Hence, when I saw that Fullhouse Lifestyle Store & Café offers Vongole Spaghetti, I immediately request for an order. I specifically mentioned that I want to spaghetti done al dente, and it came perfectly. There were lots of clams in it, though some of the clam shells were also in the pasta, making it unnervingly crunchy. It was slightly spicy due to the chilli flakes in it. Priced at RM16.90, it was quite a decent price to pay.

Another fellow friend ordered the Spicy Marinara, as she likes spicy food. She said that the pasta was not fiery enough for her, but when I tasted it, I thought it was quite spicy. This spaghetti is done well, quite al dente. As for the ingredients, there were lots of seafood in it. There was a mussel, some prawns and some calamari. Served with some cheese powder and parsley flakes, the price of RM20.90 is quite decent.

One of our friends’ name is Rose, so we were teasing her when she ordered the Rosella, which is a tomato based spaghetti. The spaghetti was slightly overcooked, but it was still OK, although not as al dente as I would like it to be. There were a generous amount of prawns and mushroom as the ingredients. Priced at RM18.90, it was worth the amount paid, even if it was just for the prawns.

Hubby was looking forward to the Tony’s Teriyaki Chicken Burger. Me, just so-so as I am not a fan of teriyaki sauce. The burger came piled high, as the chicken was quite big, slathered in lots of teriyaki sauce. There were also a slice of cucumber and tomato topped with some alfalfa sprout for the greenish taste. Served with some French fries and green, the burger is actually not bad. Priced at RM17.90, it was a decent price to pay.

We were looking forward to the main course, as the items that we had were rather light due to the many people sharing the dish. The Fullhouse Club Sandwich had quite a bit of ingredients in between. There were some bacon, beef I believe, some egg in mayonnaise, some turkey ham, slices of cheese topped with lettuce, cucumber and tomatoes. The combination is quite good. Priced at RM13.90 a serve, it was quite worth the money paid.

The other soup that we ordered to share was the smoked pumpkin with sunflower seeds. I was hoping to get some chunks of smoked pumpkin in the soup, however, I did not. The soup was a bowl of roasted creamy pumpkin soup which had some sunflower seeds sprinkled on top. There was also a spiral of cream being put for the extra flavour. Priced at RM7.90 a bowl, the soup was slightly sweet, and it was quite delectable.

We order a bowl of mushroom to share. The Forest Mushroom Soup is apparently made from fresh shitake mushroom. We can really smell the pungent mushroom flavour even before tasting it. It was served with some toasted almond flakes which definitely gave it the extra mouth crunch. Priced at RM8.90 a bowl, it was quite worth the amount paid, though each of us only had pretty much a mouthful.

One of our party wanted the Smoked Salmon Salad as he has had it before, and he liked it very much. The slices of salmon were well smoked, although I would prefer mine raw. It was bunched up to resemble a flower, so kudos for the presentation. Some greens were on the side as well as some slices of mangoes. There was also a dollop of mashed potato, slightly browned on top like it was burnt with a blow torch. Definitely a nice addition to the meal.

Hubby and I wanted to try out their Oyster Mornay, although we usually prefer Oyster Kilpatrik. So we ordered one to sample. The oyster was of decent size. It is baked with lots of cheese on top. The oyster was quite fresh, and the cheese blended well with the seafood taste of the oyster. Priced at RM6.90, I thought it was a bit expensive, but hubby said it was well worth the amount paid.

The only place I know that offers fried soft shell crab is at Japanese restaurants, hence I was pleasantly surprised when I saw that Fullhouse Lifestyle Store & Café serves this. The whole soft shell crab is fried perfectly, slightly oily but it was OK due to the fact that it is served with some greens. The vegetables took away the feeling of oiliness. Priced at RM8.90 a serve, it was well worth the amount paid.
