continue reading

On a lovely day, me and my friend decided to have our brunch together. So we went to Fullhouse since its near with my friend's house. The whole place has a cute and adorable feel to it that is hard to resist.it surround by white wooden furniture with white lace curtains. Downstairs is the dining area, the kitchen and an area where they display furniture items and knick knacks. Upstairs (do check out the adorable pictures of the characters of fullhouse on the landing) is a small boutique, a dining room for a larger crowd and a balcony area where you can sit outside at night. You select your food from a menu, which is laid out like a magazine complete with news on the boutique, which Hong Kong celebrity is visiting them and etc. The set lunches seem to be the draw of the crowd here. Each character in Fullhouse has a favourite set meal (pasta, fish, chicken and etc) and I decided to go for wok seared chicken chop with black pepper raisin sauce ♥ The set meal arrives at lightning speed (as a quick peek at their kitchen reveal a lot of items are prepped ahead). My chicken chop was juicy and I did like the fluffy mash potatoes and raisin sauce served with it!!! its really as good as the price! high recommended ♥While mains were fine, dessert in a form of an artificial tasting sponge cake with even more cardboard tasting frosting was just an oh oh oh kay for me.. *dissapointed* continue reading

Fullhouse recently launched a central city branch that's even better-looking than their original outlet at Ara Damansara. Alfresco dining is available here, amid a garden with a fountain on the ground floor and a rooftop balcony upstairs. Both areas are particularly pleasant in the evening. Some might say the interior is kitschy, but it was calm enough to soothe our frazzled nerves. A bowl of piping-hot tomato bisque with lemon grass, shredded crab meat and cognac was the best thing for a rainy night. The shitake mushroom soup with toasted almonds tasted a tad artificial, but was decent enough for less than RM10. Pan-fried butter fish with passion-berries fruit reduction and sun-dried tomatoes. Not a top-notch fish, but the sweet & salty flavours blended very nicely together. Grilled chicken thigh with black pepper raisin jus, mashed potatoes and veggies. Tender and tasty enough to recommend for a simple meal. continue reading

If you've ever been to NZX's Fullhouse, you'll be looking forward to this Korean themed cafe standing along Jalan Yap Kwan Seng. Inside - it is food, fashion and interior packed into one. It is retail therapy to be indulged before, during or after dining on the second floor. Interior wise, it is a romantic setup all together, we have green gardens to view upon and such a cozy environment for food lovers to sit and chat. Pure white furnitures and the characters on the wall seems to be the highlight of each of its branches - not forgetting the mini car at the entrance when we walked by.A nice bungalow to consider for an event or just a cozy meal with your loved ones in a quiet spot in town.Lovely interior - a homely feeling especially for girls! Set lunch meals on a weekday - comes with iced lemon tea, soup of the day (mushroom cream) and a dessert. Tiffany's favourite meal (RM13.90) - Smoked salmon salad with cheese bits.A Thomas's meal - Spaghetti with ham and mushroom in cream sauce (RM16.90). continue reading
