We went to Maison Francaise but it seemed that their kitchen for lunch was close and there was only tea. So we decided to go to Starhill and search for food. We ended up eating Fisherman Cove at the last floor. The upstairs was closed but I specially requested that they allowed me to dine there since that was the sole purpose I chose that restaurant over the rest. The ambience was spectcular and very romantic. Every table had a fish net as a light.The french bread was warm and crispy and was fantastic.The Lobster Thermidor (RM 148) was amazing. The cheese lobster was nicely cut and every bite was pure bliss especially if you like cheese. The meat was very succulent. The lobster also came with Spaghetti Olio which was made very tasty even though it was very simple. The Blue Mojito was amazing with a lot of fresh peppermint and was a little sour. It cost RM 22. The Vanilla drink (RM 18) was quite ok. It was not sweet at all which was to my taste. continue reading

Fisherman's Cove is a great place to dine in to enjoy the food here. the fish is the most signature dish here and must try this when coming overy here to fisherman. the cod fish is really delicious, served fresh enough but . the small portion of this plate looks like, but the cod fish is really fresh and cooked to perfection.i also like the salad and vegetables on top of the plate continue reading

fisher man cove is at the starhill gallery and nice to dine in here with family . here the fish is fresh and the best part of the experience is the possibility of picking out the catch fresh from the fish tanks and nice to see that. try the drinks here which is the cappucino tasty and very creamy when it comes served on our table nice to see the design on top of the drinks. continue reading

The seafood tomyam here is HUGE.... with huge crab claw, huge clams... perfecto. The tomyam is very delicious, thai spiced tomyam with clear broth and much of chilli padi taste. Piping hot. The crab meat is tender and not sticking to the skin. Clam is fresh and big, chewy meat. This seafood makes the tomyam taste seafoodly sweet. Starhill's most beguiling restaurant, with lots of aquariums and an open kitchen amid a setting that evokes impressions of a rickety fishing vessel. Seafood is their forte, but even the meat dishes are a cut above. Petuna ocean trout tataki with seaweed, wasabi mayo & hot-sour dressing. We're usually not fans of tataki-style fish, but we loved how this retained all its natural juiciness. Plus, the accompaniments enhanced the flavour of the fish instead of overpowering it. Pan-fried foie gras & sliced duck breast with caramelised mango compote and tamarind jus. Stick your fork into a bit of everything, then eat it all together. Heaven in one bite!
