Fat One Steamboat is no ordinary steamboat as it provide grill and deep fried services too! I usually come here for 3 delicious skewers that I like, namely the Bacon, Chicken and also the Squid. The bacon and chicken is best served when it is grilled whereas the squid is most tasty when it is being deep fried. To spices the flavours, I would usually add some curry powder once the skewer is done being grilled or deep fried. It's a delicious street food that I enjoyed eating. However, it's a little pricey. The Bacon and Chicken is RM 3.20 per stick whereas the Squid is RM 2.20 per stick. Hence, I don't have it often. continue reading

Sometimes I when I go to pasar malam for a walk, I always attracted by this steamboat truck. Their menu is very simple and the cooking time is very quick. You can just eat and go. I like to eat their pork ball especially dip with their peanut sauce, sambal and also sweet sauce. These 3 sauces mixed together goes very well with the pork ball. Their pork ball isn't that expensive too. continue reading

Two things that I like about Lok-lok are the dishes are simple and the cooking method is easy. So normally I will implement this 3,2,1 eating method here. So what is this 3,2,1 actually? They are just the sauce mixture. 3 spoons of sweet sauce, followed by 2 spoons of chilli sauce and last 1 spoon of peanut satay sauce. I am a fans of spicy. But when it comes to steamboat, I don't really want the chilli taste so heavy. So mix them up will have the balance taste of ying and yang. The sauce won't be too spicy and you can have some satay sauce. continue reading
