Calorie Restaurant has changed it’s Management so, it rebranded itself as “ePlus Meal”. Everything remained the same except the big boss I like the ePlus Meal calendar like menu - full of "e", Chinese & English description of the item, illustrated with picture. Clear, simple, informative. Even their table is colorful & decorated with pictures of their food! 2 of my favorite set meal pages, even vegetarian food set is available. Each set meal comes with 1 choice of drink/dessert.My choice: Set 2
VERDICT:
Main Meal Portion: Huge. Can share among 2 adults.
Display: Simple homecooked style & garnishing with chopped spring onion leaves in a deep ceramic bowl to maintain it's "heat". Sturdy utensils are served in a separate containers withplenty of thick tissue napkin.
Just the way I like it!. Personally dislike plastic utensils to eat hot served food & fishing for thin tissues around.
Ingredients: Each spoonful dig in reveals plenty of well marinated spiced minced pork, gravy, fresh succulent prawns, strips of carrots. Packed with flavors, fragrant but not oily & not pungent. No “die of thirst, MSG effect”. The rice is fresh cooked fluffy & melts well together with the gravy in the mouth. Very orgasmic feel good food.
So *Fooo* Fuuuufilling meal. Couldn’t finish. Stopped a while to use the Free Wifi before continue eating. Would be a shame to waste it.
DESSERT/VERDICT: Rice Ball with Jasmine Tea is served in a mid-size bowl with generous amount of rice balls, slices of ginger, wolfberry in jasmine tea. Inside each perfectly round shape rice ball consist sesame seed powder, thus eat bite is chewy & fragrant with sesame. The whole dish consist ingredients that are good for health. Taste wise, it’s mild yet it lingers in the mouth. Refreshing & rejuvenating! Not sweet & strong like our typical Malaysian dessert.
