Stepping in the restaurant with a smile, we are being brought to our seats and served with the tea to our preference. The dim sum menu is pretty simple where the one page menu is filled with small pictures and all at one price which is at RM 9.50 each. We ordered quite a number of chef’s recommendation and delights.

Dynasty Minced Pork Dumplings Topped with fish roe is perfectly a good choice for a Chinese dining. The succulent minced meat with lots of the minced prawn in between is just perfectly made for a dine. The delicious portion on dim sum just as good as it is where we are just totally falling in love with

We had the steamed rice flour roll with barbeque pork and vegetable. Well minced barbeque pork added between the steamed rice is just nice to be enjoyed in the cozy morning. The barbeque meat taste just absorb in between the steamed rice roll which is just perfect.

For Shanghai Dumpling simmered in Supperior Stock, the shanghai dumpling is just well done with the juicy and sweet soup inside the dumpling itself. The juiciness of the shanghai dumpling is just perfect and I called in the king of the day with the aromatic flavours which is infused within it.

As for the lotus leaf rice, well steamed in a small little rice parcel is just not to heavy for a meal to share. It is being served with the shell abalone with it.

Being in the dim sum restaurant, it will be a must to order the oinky baos. The fluffy barbeque pork bun is filled with lots of minced meat just perfect to share with.

At the award-winning Dynasty Restaurant (Non-Halal) of Renaissance Kuala Lumpur Hotel, our chefs have created a selection of fourteen (14) homemade traditional mooncakes including a number of contemporary ones using pure and natural ingredients. These mooncakes are available from 19 July to 19 September 2013.

Perennial favourites are Double salted yolks with white lotus paste, Pandan lotus paste with salted yolk and Snow skin champagne chocolate. However, no Mid-Autumn Festival will be complete without the all time traditional favourite of Baked assorted nuts with ham. The mooncakes are just perfectly made, not too sweet as well as I am falling in love with their Pandan Lotus Paste which is just fragrant

New flavours for this year’s festival are the Snow skin mango paste, Snow skin spirulina paste and Snow skin sweet corn and custard paste. Other tempting mooncakes are Precious black tiramisu, ‘Jiang Nam’ red bean paste with melon seeds and the Snow skin fruity durian paste. As for me , i am falling in love with the durian paste as the fragrance of durian in it and each mouthful is just perfect. Since they are using a high graded durian,the taste can be smell once it had been cutted.

Next is one my my favourite which is Grilled cod fillet, wantan, mash potato in saffron broth (薯泥云吞烤鱈鱼) where the cod fillet is simply amazingly done. The fish is well grilled and the fish texture is smooth and juicy. It is then served with the mash potato below which is thick and creamy. The overall combination is indeed a great match with the saffron broth and I love the golden yellow presentation of the dish.

Pan- seared wagyu beef with fresh mushroom, garlic black pepper jus Roasted roulade of chicken, young carrot (香煎黑椒嫩和牛) is one of the highlights meal of the day. The wagyu beef is indeed very yummy and appetizing where it’s meat is simply juicy. It is served with together with the roasted roulade of chicken which taste good to where it’s meat is tender. I could say the dish is really impressed us all.

The rice meal which is well made with the lovely glutinous rice which added with the lap mei, mushroom and also slice abalone. It is sinfully delicious and I could finish the whole bowl of rice even though I am so full. It will be one of my favorite dish done by Chef Kok Chee Kin here.

Coming next is the Fatt Choy, Whole Dried Scallop & Garlic. The dish is simply good and juicy with the 3 layer pork which comes with it and it s simply good. The Australian dried scallops are also added into the dish with the dried oyster that topped on top. It is a traditional dish for Chinese New Year but neverless we have it at anytime we love at Dynasty restaurant

Next comes the Smoked Farm Chicken which is very fragrant when it is being served to us. The farm chicken is being marinated from tea leaves and it is then being steamed and smoked. The sauce comes when the chicken is being smoked. I love the dish so much, even though, Chef Kok Chee Kin used the farm chicken in preparing the dish, it is still good where the chicken meat is tender and juicy. I could say, this is a special dish to try off and it is superb.

We started off with the fruits yee sang. The fruit yee sang is special dish where it is being served with the Korean Pear, yam pomelo as well as fresh fruits. The yee sang comes special with the beautiful cutted fruits where they have dragon fruits, honeydew, apple, mango and strawberry. I felt that the dish is very special with the fresh cut fruits in it but not only that, it is well mix together with the plum sauce which brings up the sweet and sour taste together and blend it quite well.

Not to forget, we are tempt with two desserts for the night. After the satisfying meal, Chef had warm us with some desserts which is the Warmed milk, aloe vera & sesame glutinous dumpling (鲜奶芦荟芝麻汤圆). Satisfying warm milk with the lovely glutinous dumpling is just good and delicious which is just good to end the heavy meals we had. The dumplings are sinfully delicious.

I am falling in love with the Poached Chicken with Kai Lan (玉兰白切鸡). Chef’s made the dish with a complete surprise to me. Chef had added the sliced Chinese bacon in between the chicken and it is being steamed with the kailan together. The chicken meat is tender and juicy with a light saltiness while the sauce which is accompanied together with it is simply flavourful.
